Is it too much to ask for a normal knife like a Karambit instead of something that takes up 25% of my screen and flies around my hands when I switch to it.

I can't speak for LOL, but I know in Val, the salaries were way higher in Japan compared to Korea. Most of the talent in these two regions is highly dense at the top. Leaving a lot of space for KR players.
s0m for me. Played well, and way better than expectations for his first year in a substantial t1 team.
Wippie's not as bad as a lot of people think he is, but I think most people shit on him because of how high his ego is compared to how good he is.
If you're still looking, they ranked NRG S. Sliggy only mentioned thinking Ethan was going to join, but they said that having Victor and Crashies + Chet gave them enough experience to have the potential to become S-tier.
I don't think I ever would have believed people would unironically be saying this back in 2022.
Yeah, although, D&D has made more or less of a resurgence in the past couple of years because of Stranger Things, which I personally think played a role in why a lot of people who traditionally wouldn't play this style of game tried it.
The writing in Baldur's Gate 3 was way overhyped. Lots of the dialogue was just, "It's dark, so it must be deep and profound." A lot of side quests were meaningless and simple. Also, for literally no reason, a lot of characters had to be snarky and just be the same personality with a different voice and backstory.
I also didn't feel a lot of emotional weight in a lot of the story. The only part that I actually felt was extremely sad and I felt legitimate empathy for was Astarion's backstory with Cazador where you could make him a vampire lord, that story was really well done.
Tears of the Kingdom was better than Baldur's Gate 3, recency bias is crazy.
Not really, feels more like Xeppaa is the win condition. Oxy is doing well in most games, but whether or not they win seems to come down to other members stepping up as well.
Champs is also at the end of the year, meaning that teams will have as much time as possible to adapt to the large meta-shifts we see in between seasons, which should in theory make it more competitive.
Did she ever say why she left in the first place, I kinda assumed she was retiring.
I kinda like the idea of having it where a trip can activate another trip. So if you put both in the same location, the trip will activate once someone enters the zone, but if you only have 1 there than its off of player noise. This way you can give her a single guaranteed alarm bot, or two which gives her more opportunities on defense where you would be rewarded for creative setups.
I feel like in Valorant, the meta changes so much that you you won't see any team at the top for too long. It's always a game of who can be the best on the new meta. Too early to tell anything, but the FNC øerformance towards the end of last year started to make me wonder if they were already falling behind the meta.
Riot honestly should just kick EG out of VCT after this season and give the spot to an org on their backup list or something. Such a shitty org.
I don't know exactly, which teams are going to be considered T1 china, like Pacific/Emea/Americas. Going off the Flynn spreadsheet, maybe Invictus Gaming? But I don't think I've seen them play in any of the recent CN matches that show up in my feed. https://twitter.com/FlyNN_vlr/status/1714305412365730033/photo/4
Don't think there are any rosters other than NRG and DFM where we don't really have a good idea of who the remaining two players are gonna be. I don't see them fitting into either of these rosters, so I would say unlikely.
Interlagos is better than Suzuka, but it's not like Suzuka's a bad circuit. It's fast and fun to watch.
I'm personally impressed with the JP crowd because they don't really have a history in the tac FPS genre. Seeing them come out for a game that they historically wouldn't have been interested in is pretty cool.
Also, regardless of your opinion about it, br fans can come off the wrong way with their chants. I believe there was a chant to NRG, saying "UH VAI MORRER." While obviously not a death threat, the JP crowd is normally respectful and doesn't do anything like that. Personally, I like a level somewhere in between the two extremes, leaning towards the BR side where fans are passionate for their home team, but still maintain a respectful demeanor. However, I can see why competitors might like the JP crowd more.
I think it would largely depend on the internal contract that Moist X Shopify have. They've not merged the companies into 1, from what I can tell, they're using the Moist brand with Shopify funding. Assuming there isn't a clause in the contract that Shopify gets the spot, I believe the default would be for Moist to get it. I'm only speculating though.
Gankster or Valorant LFG Discord. That's where I found mine, and they're pretty chill, but your mileage may vary.
Think it's good for gimmick tournaments, but would be terrible for the actual competitive circuit
Likely waiting for Boostio contract to expire iirc, Nature probably a 6th man, but will be on the starting 5 until then. Just my guess tho
Interesting. Feel like there were a lot of T2 players that got passed up for these spots that probably would've done better, but if they feel like this is the roster that gives them the best shot to win, more power to them.
ZETA 3:1 EDGS, game 1 is an EDG blowout, and the rest go OT
Hard to get kills when suzu is taking them all
Just pray next year Riot gives us more slots at GC championship so that both of these teams could go. Obv I'm biased for Zeta GC, but seeing how close these two teams were last time, It's hard to say which is definitively better rn.
I believe, based off TMosura's statement, that it's going to be teams that qualified for the regional qualified, I don't believe they made it into that.
Would still be cool to see.
No idea why they decided to ditch the pink for Kru Blaze, I get that it might be cliche for a GC team, but I thought it was a big part of their brand.
Because I want to support the GC roster via my flair. I don't care about the "male" Zeta roster, Im a fan of suzu and kohal from the Fennel GC last year, and this Zeta team was fun to watch during GC. Plus, Its cool to see someone with a TL flair, click on it, and every now and then it's a TL Brazil fan.
Plus as previously mentioned, there's already teams that share the same flair.
EG, TL, fennel both share the same logo, yet they have flairs. The point of a flair is to say you root for a team, I don't really care much for the Zeta male roster, I only support the GC one.
Looked to see if ZETA GC flair was added, and noticed that a lot of GC teams are missing flairs, so I decided to compile a list of the teams that are still missing flairs, as well as images to potentially help mods if they, hopefully, decide to implement them.
I'm going off TMosura's statement that any team that qualified for a regional qualifier will be added.
East Asia
North America
EMEA
Brazil
LATAM
APAC
If I missed any, or added one that already had a flair please let me know.
Very well written + sources :)
I think people that have grown up speaking English (even if as a foreign language) can sometimes under estimate how hard it is to learn. So it would make sense, at least from my experience, for someone like Pancada who has only started learning English after going to SEN, to struggle with the language. English and Portuguese aren't even similar languages, so it would be especially difficult. Not to mention, English speaking players aren't talking in textbook grammatical English, it's normally going to be very broken and informal.
More Carlos' fault for partying with him, just echoing Zekken's language.
Shahz underrated heavily, but I don't think he's a good fit in T1 rn. I definitely think he could be on a ascension contender team if he's still interested in competing.
This gave me major nostalgia to when Andrew Tate cucked the old XSET roster out of the G2 spot.
EG masterclass in destroying your reputation as a company.
I think leaf is a better choice because of his Jett being better than Jawgemo's, but I don't see him playing Skye over JonahP. G2 already had two good flex players, they just chose the better duelist imo
The EDG GC team is named Chao Hui.
From what I can tell on the logo it's written 超会 (I only have a Japanese keyboard, so it might be different for simplified Chinese)
What does this mean? I tried Google Translate and it says "super meeting," which I'm going to guess isn't correct.
Close
Players are known by their last tournament. People thought Tuyz was great after that fracture performance V. NRG, then thought he was terrible after that sheriff ascent clip. People thought Yay was the best itw in 2022, know people think he's one of the worst jetts itw.
v1c is more of an investment where as Aproto is already good. I think v1c has the potential to be better in the long term, but at the current moment is worse.
