Have mercy, Paper Rex. Have mercy.

Internet issues. AE's ISP is down nationwide. Most likely, the match will be delayed after UBF, but if their internet isn't returning until then, they'll forfeit

Let me recheck again.

EDIT: Changes made to follow the description and a verified 2nd source. It is back to its original matchup (flipped bracket).

They've updated the bracket on the PPGL Facebook page.

Hold your thoughts there, they're slowly mounting a comeback.

sorry sorry, soalnya itu disetnya kan semua starter, jadi 3nable sm frizznatz kehitung karena mereka yg duluan. Nanti kalau statsnya udh masuk auto ganti kok

Thank you for the clarification! While the information isn't necessarily wrong, we'll adjust it accordingly!

Not really when you think about it. Every round counts, and in the end X10 lost by one round. Also, shouldn't have used the cam bug just saying.

It's just the system. They're both out.

BAAM win, they take BOOM with them to Playoffs. GXR wins, they take X10 with them.

posted about 3 years ago

BOOM owns the round differential. If GXR wins 2-0 against BAAM, BOOM qualifies due to them winning more rounds in their loss against X10 on Icebox.

Brother, it's not match fixing. You see how they were broken on certain points. Don't blame them on just wanting to give up. ONIC in the end was clutching at straws.

Yinsu, as far as I'm aware is a host, not an analyst

posted about 3 years ago

Well, I don't know about that. You're being toxic.

Alright. First of all, it's tournament organizers. Not production. They're completely separate entities under one umbrella. Second of all, it might be true if this was Challengers Philippines as they have the higher authority to decide besides the Riot global rules. But no, it's the SEA Challengers Playoffs which while managed and organized by PPGL, it is in conjunction with Riot and their global rules as it is the overarching entity.

posted about 3 years ago

You do know rulebooks are under Riot's discretion under the global rules, not the PH production?

Zeal unfortunately was knocked out by SunSparks on the last day of Challengers 3 Week 3 qualifiers.

My apologies, it is! Thank you for the wording correction, it was what I had in mind but it just missed me.

Weren't you the one that shat all over the fact that these smaller regions gets a slot over teams such as CIS and TR back in Masters 2? Like, I agree with the comments above too, dude. If they can't defeat the other EU teams then, tough luck. Not to discredit their effort, but with how the slots are set up, they can't all be winners. Hoping that Riot can change the format to better suit the many sub-regions, though.

Also PLEASE don't forget about regional differences in terms of context before you shit on their international performance. EU/TR/CIS is different than LATAM, as the case for other regions.

For SEA: There's quite the amount of teams that honestly could cause quite a coinflip if they were to match up against international teams. Region-wise,

Thailand is pretty much still the best region. X10 hasn't exactly lost a step even with Patiphan not playing, and with the addition of FULL SENSE and Sharper, they might bring the big guns now.

Indonesia is interesting, however. With the self-immolation of NXL LIGAGAME, new teams have stepped up onto the mantle. Alter Ego finally rediscovering their form in the early stages of SEA competition. BOOM Esports had a rough time, but they finally made it up in Challengers 3 with the addition of fl1pzjder. However, ONIC is a real sleeper team. They've always been a good fringe T1 / top T2 team, but with the addition of Monyet, they might surprise some folks.

The Philippines is an interesting one as well. Bren making it to the playoffs is to be expected, but with Zeal (ex-6045Pirates) gone, the return of Galaxy Racer (ex-Ark Angel) and the rise of Oasis Gaming should bring a fresh new outlook for PH teams coming into the next stage of VCT SEA.

MY/SG is pretty much the Paper Rex show, but with UwU defeating them on Challengers 2, MY/SG might not be a solo performance for much longer.

HK/TW is also pretty much the CBT Gaming show. KPC dissolved and absorbed some of its members to CBT, a practically super team within the sub-region. Five Ace is a team that has always been on the fringes but gets cut off by either CBT or KPC in the past, so it's nice to see them moving up the ladder.

Vietnam is pretty much somewhat unknown. I have faith, but their limited showing in the last Challengers Playoffs might cloud my judgment. Team Big BAAM (ex-SYG) might be their best shot so far, but on the other side, I have zero idea how EGO would perform.

At the end of the day, I'd expect X10 to be the surefire representative, with either BOOM or Bren behind.

My apologies! My internet bricked itself since last night and PPGL posted it on 10 AM GMT+7, when my internet was still down. It's updated now. My apologies again.

And they didn't lose their cool the entire way. One step back, 3 steps fowards.

It is the old team that is being inputted. This roster is different.

Not the LEC Studio (aka Studio K.) Verti Music Hall is going to be the venue used for Berlin. It hosted the Group Stage for the 2019 LoL Worlds as well.

It's for the latter question on your first post. Most likely it'll be a viewers' ticket to Berlin.

RB Campus Clutch is a separate event not linked to the VCT events. It is comprised of college teams, which in itself have multiple members from different VCT teams. It is unknown if Berlin will have live attendance.

What are you talking about lol? Last match they had alecks step in for Benkai. BOOM is just the better team today, that's not even throwing. These comments are ridiculous.

excited to see BOOM's new roster!

I'm just gonna stop yall right there let's not go further.

They've been playing in Hong Kong servers for most of the matches. Most of the big teams in China (Suning, iG, EDG, etc.) have their own teams. Plus a Chinese player (ZmjjKK) played in the SEA Challengers 2 Finals for CBT Gaming.

I can confirm, do not flame him.

Mosura is the Japanese pronunciation/name for Mothra. The "T" came from Titanus Mosura, the 'biological' name they used to identify Mothra in the Legendary Godzilla movies.
