The Order has fallen. Long live the Wildcards.

He came in with energy and happiness. You can't dampen that from a person themselves.

They played with heart. GGs, Team Vikings!

It comes with the aggressiveness that these two teams have. Both reliant on their DM skills and setting up combos and fast entries. It gets bloody quick and fast.

Put some respect on their names! SEA is here to shake things up, baby!

One can give EMEA 1 slot and Japan 5 slots, and say "There are the ones that qualified, and the ones that are watching from their home/team setups. That's how it is." Why not lol.

There will be dominant and weak regions. That's the nature of esports and competition as long as the concept existed. I have hope that RIOT will learn from Reykjavik and make some changes for the next Challengers/Masters. What you said is ridiculous and you know RIOT will never let that happen. But me and you aren't RIOT.

And I'm not sure if that's your EU bias is showing, but man you've been on a roll with these comments. You're just salty that Gambit lost to Fnatic and didn't make it to Masters, didn't you?

Just hope RIOT can learn from Reykjavik and reconfigure stuff for the next Challengers/Masters yeah?

Reposting this for clarity.

Each team deserves their spot in Iceland. They don't make it? They'll have to do better next Challengers. Do not belittle other teams' effort and journey just because your favourite team didn't make it. If you think Gambit or any team should make it instead of KRU or any other minor teams, Then it's just the regional differences. Gambit failed to beat Fnatic? Then be it. That's the EMEA for you. You probably know how close the region is relative. KRU fought tooth and nail by beating Infinity? Then that's LATAM. A whole set of challenges and differences that each team needs to overcome.

And it's still not a reason to put down each team and change them with another just because the said team lost to the ones that eventually qualified. There are the winners and the losers. There are the ones that qualified, and the ones that are watching from their home/team setups. That's how it is.

I'm sure the players have their own discipline. And hey, player cams! They're here!

1- It's a stylistic decision. It works, and it gives a different vibe than MSI
2- It's not an alien concept; many LAN arenas have done head-to-head setups like that before
3- Probably technical issues? There are camera rigs on their PCs.

It's not a waste of space, and it differentiates them rather than being an MSI-rehash.

I mean there's probably a lot more behind the scenes. Maybe the tournament did push his decision to retire. After all, the man's a veteran. Who knows if he wants to chill for now?

Even playing field, even LAN experience for all. Wish all teams the best. Also please X10 at least upset some teams

Congratulations X10! What a performance.

All those words to backtrack. You can't say hope to do well yet calling them to get steamrolled!

That aggressive DM style isn't going to save anyone there, whew. I am loving the Pirates' progression!

It'll depend if Paper Rex can frag out of their mind. BREN looking like the cleaner team out of the two but DM-wise, this might be spicy.

At this point, there's a possibility this might be right!
