Xerxia? They were good since they were X10. Managed to make it to playoffs and even beat peak Envy at 2021 champs.

Define playoffs in an single elim bracket of 32 teams?

SkRossi S3xture duo solos Omega bracket.

Looks close enough considering Talon barely had any practice with GarnetS and Jitboys at that time.

Seems highly unlikely, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Basically same as CIS.

kinda is, but their clips looked like average ascendant/low immortal gameplay.

All the three regions seems to be equally impressive at the moment. All of them 2-3 teams that are really good, then most others are mid.

Americas have NRG and LOUD, probably Omega bracket will add a couple more teams 100T should be good. C9 might be good, they beat PRX who should theoretically be a good team. But got demolished by DRX but DRX is also a top-tier team.

For EMEA, lets be honest, they have been wiped but it would be unfair to them to say this is their max potential. FNC, TL and NAVI are sure to deliver some good valorant. Cannot really say anything about other teams, maybe Vitality will deliver.

Pacific has DRX, everyone knows they are a powerhouse, we can now confirm Talon are top tier too, hopefully at least one of RRQ, GE, Zeta or EDG steps up so that we can round it out to a good 3-4 teams in Pacific.
GenG's game was respectable but we cannot really tell since they lost at the end. So I think it's up to your opinion to decide their strength.
Lots of people already sleeping on PRX's future. They have top-tier players, and can easily dominate any team on a good day. Their mistakes really hurt them though. What is scary is that their mistakes are so obvious and easy to fix. Although I don't think they were at their best at LOCK//IN.

Most franchised teams aren't scrimming each other to hide strats and team comps.

GE needs no smokes, pick 5 duelists go rush and kill.

IGLing is overrated. No need for beta male Ayrin who does not play duelist as a main.

SEN not ready for this strat forfeits in 5 rounds.

TenZ complains about RiTo indie company later that night in his stream.
"Rito should allow FFing after the first round, very easy to implement, dunno why they haven't does this yet"

Edit: SkRossi drops 50 kills in 10 rounds combined total.

posted about a year ago

It's quite funny how SkRossi is playing in a franchise and will probably continue to do so for the next 3-4 years at a minimum which will also be around the time to end his career and no-lifers on VLR will keep crying about him.

LMAO my ass. Go to Korea and tell me how many people speak English.

Nobody learns Hindi when visiting India. People can talk in English here.

Most of us speak english though? Hindi casters are not as good as the English ones. We are not like KR or JP where people struggle to speak english.

I fail to see how your valorant rank has anything to do with a corporate office job.

Your MMR and Elo systems are designed by engineers, not the guy making decisions. He looks at presentations saying this system is statistically better than the old one and shows the green light.

Firing one guy will not solve the problem. I also doubt ProCity had anything to do with this.

Moreover, he did not even get fired, he was simply moved to a different project lmao.

Star sports is one of the biggest sports telecasters in India. They streamed it on star sports 2 which is reasonable (star sports 1 is reserved for sports like cricket).

It got millions in watching https://www.techcircle.in/2022/06/15/malabar-india-fund-leads-32-mn-investment-in-niti-aayog-founded-genesys-international

There were teams from all SA countries in qualifiers, they just never made it to playoffs. I doubt there are more than 20 ppl playing valorant in Bhutan.

posted about a year ago

TBH if even 10% of the PUBM players get interested in Valorant, the viewership will exceed JP easily.

Also, if the league is streamed on television expect millions of people watching easily.

It really depends on how Riot markets the game here. They have put up huge billboards and attracted mainstream sports teams to start valorant teams in the past few months. Moreover, higher stakes and imports mean that other regions will also be watching SA valorant.

If something goes mainstream in India, it will easily break any record there is. If any cricket tycoon invests in Valorant, the viewership will easily exceed millions.

I genuinely don't think you should question SA viewership potential when literally 25% of the world lives here.
