Toronto is massive. Depends where you go, how much demand there is for housing.
I'd say $1600 for a single bedroom is bare minimum. I'm paying $650 all inclusive for a bedroom in a 8 person house (student).
Ofc if ur downtown, price per square foot value will go up crazy high
I like the new one piece intros that change with each new arc.
I'm on the land of wano arc and it's pretty sick ngl
Try Vancouver if ur worried about stepping in Needles.
Anywhere near Toronto arenas/sports venues is fine.
Maybe Masters will be hosted in a building on Jane & Finch, only if we're lucky....
But I actually do wanna know the venue. No way it'd be scotiabank/Roger's, right?
Is Masters Toronto actually gonna be a thing?
Hiro did a great job this season, but leo is 100% better in terms of both aim and map pool.
I feel like fade ain't worth it if you don't have raze. I'd prefer her over jett.
Also I hate phoenix in 2024. Especially on this map when you can just have space for a more useful agent
Phoenix probably gonna agro push B every round with a flash
Then he gets crunched by players on mound going through door
So you shoot the cam and they have zero info, unless clove has her ult?
Mexico is definitely North America, both geographically and politically. Not sure where you're from in the states but most along the border have huge Latin populations for obvious reasons. It's the norm to at least know a little, moreso than other metropolis where there happens to be a pretty large Latino diaspora
Humanities (or social sciences, depending on the faculty) refers to history, sociology, anthro, poli-sci, and some liberal arts stuff like women/gender studies etc.
Maybe it's different in other places, but physics would be under a sciences faculty, with respect to his area of research (I.e. applied vs. Theoretical)
Well, that's probably why they're so much, no?
Honestly depends on where you're going to school, size of your program, and a few other things. I know the government in Canada subsidizes a good portion of the cost for books. I spent more in Uni, maybe $400 CAD in first year, and that slowly shrunk down as classes got smaller and it was more about the core classes for my BA. I'm doing a college program now and I spent $100 last year.
GL with your PhD!
I s2g he was as much a reason for then winning Champs in '22 as Aspas was. He's okay now, but LOUD and other BR teams in VCT in general struggled this season. If they get a solid duelist and figure out roles, I think they'll come back strong next year.
Pancada was never a superstar like aspas, but he was super consistent, and was the rock for the team before less was so cracked.
It wasn't loud 3 years ago tho, they won Champs 22, only formed in january of that year under pancada e amigos.
It's been full of good matches at least.
Cologne is an annual event that's gone on for 10+ years in Germany though, and I'd put my money on the eSports scene for CS in Europe being bigger than the eSports scene for val in korea
What the hell
They had a limited map pool while having to swap roles around because of leo being gone. He was pivotal to their success, def not elma's fault working with what they had.
Respect for the accurate take. I remember being on /r/GO following that stuff in highschool. Good memory.
That roster may have been goated, but they still had Edward and Flamie. IG that was before Flamie was washed.
Tbh cs is so unfair sometimes, its so hard to trade ur teammate when peeking an angle cus the ak spray is disgusting not like valorant with random spray pattern
Still upvoted because I agree, but ANGE1 made deeps runs at enough tournaments with teams that had little right to be where they were, that he deserves some decent credit. Was also able to frag fairly well at his peak, at a time when most teams had that IGL that was a deadweight in the fragging dept.
They won a major since s1mple left. m0nesy is widely considered his replacement as far as the zywoo/s1mple 'Best player itw' debate has continued since he retired.
Their team is actually really good. I prefer this Na'Vi to other iterations that always needed s1mple to carry.
ngl if we had the same level of casting, and consistently solid production event-to-event, historic rosters, val could be as good an eSport.
But CS clears, and I haven't even played in years. It's just a fact.
Real, but discussing it in an overtly male-dominated space is redundant.
idrk what the point of your comment even was tbh
Well, this is a refreshing change of pace.
bruh no way you gonna say this when ITS YOU
this is the one time I want someone to have more than 1 account on this site. Stop embarrassing yourself.
You change flairs more than I change my skins in game, holy cow.
Can't blame him for feeling like that. What he said literally happened. The type of people hating on this kid so hard were the same people saying it towards Pati.
The val community fucking blows when it comes to this stuff. Mostly because roster changes after 2-4 matches is the norm with how short the regular season is. And the average age of spectators is admittedly lower than other eSports.
Buzz is literally the reason they made Champs....
I mean, their results since pati was still standing in haven't been consistent, and criticism from the community towards him should speak for itself.
Makes me cringe when I see people with 0 courage in this world hating an 18 year old kid who's clearly lost his confidence leading up to this series. If you listened to comms, he was keeping them well focused, which is great, because their vibes are wayyyy different than their previous tournaments.
Hope you experience half the stress this kid is going under while being in the spotlight.
Losing leo definitely made them mortal, not because hiro didn't do a great job standing in, but because of roles. This ended up affecting their map pool a lot imo, even their best map, Haven, was a more 'PUGish' of a comp than ones they ran when leo was on the team. Can't blame them with time constructions either.
Elma is a more experienced and imo, better coach than boaster could be. Getting rid of Elma would be a massive mistake, like letting go of derke/alfa. Maybe not as big, but still, a massive error in managing a team.
Damn, I wonder how much sleep boaster been getting. It's good they can manage stress in game, but if this man ain't sleeping, no fucking wonder he loses so many duels.
If it's straight stress they need to focus on support staff like vitality have this year. Having mini and Elma on the time should alleviate him from having to put strats together outside of practice.
Summer break writing practice, respect.
Speaking as a former team liquid cs fan, probably fans who hate.
Obligatory 'the rest of China has to catch up' comment
But more tourney experience this will happen no doubt
I'm def favoring DRX this game tbh, players are looking better rn, except I'd say riens has been the best player in the server this event
I think he was a mid player in Shanghai too, but he had a good amount of experience when it came to utility and fundamentals.
Not like he set the world on fire in any series that comes to mind.
Better omen/kay-o than what wo0t has shown this tournament tbh
Life is so much better now.
Facts. Big underperformance from him today. The vibes just weren't there.
Miniboo I get after he came back, but why you going after Pati when they made a grand final w/ him standing in
Pati was underrated in terms of experience for sure. Not their best player, but still, brought more structure.
def prefer a pro player or coach who can give good analysis w/ some humor
I could just put a mirror and speaker next to me if I wanted generic reactions to basic gameplay every other second.
