Hey, what about the hookers

posted 4 months ago

Tons of people play RPG/SP games on PC with controllers. Would be weird for games like fallout/Skyrim to be on console and for cyberpunk not to be.

Keep Moose. Could be your franchise sentinel, but verno also flexes on KJ really well, not sure about Cypher. Runi also plays a lot of sova/breach, which verno also plays, so I see a good argument for getting rid of runi for verno. However, i can also see a world where runi comes back to IGLing and they drop vanity.

Imo:

IGL: runi - will play viper/flex

Duelist: Oxy (duh, unless he gets a crazy offer elsewhere, he'll stay)

Senti: Moose

If m80 don't ascend, I'd get Zander for main controller

Primary initiator would then be verno

posted 4 months ago

Ngl I feel like M80 have stepped it up over the course of the year, in spite of roster changes, and OXG have basically been at the same level, kinda plateauing. Hope they rise through lower bracket

I missed the highlight, and for some reason they just ask stats trivia questions between maps

Buzz mistook foxy9 for Rb

posted 4 months ago

It's just more isolated regionally. I'll maybe tune into Challengers from another region if I have absolutely nothing happening during the day, or if I can't sleep, but its just easier to watch NA VCL, VCT, and call it a day.

posted 4 months ago

Definitely seemed like it.

posted 4 months ago

Pretty sure he played flex before going main duelist on MxS. Bdog was duelist over him on the old SR/LG rosters I think

I've watched CS since 2015, val since 2021. I'd say historically (and anecdotally) it goes:

  1. Cloud9 (feels like they've fallen off in terms of fan base in recent years)
  2. 100T (probably current leader in fanbase and # of teams across games)
  3. NRG (originally a T2 org imo, rose up after val released)
  4. Evil Geniuses (been around as long as NiP in CS, hence the name; ran by corporate lobbyists who know nothing about eSports now, poor reputation in terms of player treatment, however, one of the oldest names in NA eSports)
  5. I could see SEN being top 5, but optic gaming or faze probably outrank them. It would just be off their early val success and because of TenZ

I like your list.

San Fran is my favorite place I've gone to in North America. Beautiful landscape, cool people, nice weather.

One thing I'll say is Florence > Rome, if you ever go back to Italy. Way prettier, and it has better shopping imo.

posted 4 months ago

That's like comparing upper NY state to NYC.

Vancouver is dope, my uncle lives in Kitsilano. Lots of shopping, good barscene. That being said, it's super pricey compared to other places in BC. My sister is in Victoria, and you could make the argument it's pricey on the island too, but at least you don't have east hastings (homeless capital of canada) and such a dense population. Has all the same stuff Vancouver has too.

posted 4 months ago

He's an IGL who comms in English. Idk how many similar options there are in APAC.

posted 4 months ago

Semantics ik but I'm pretty sure Jakee came up thru collegiate, not Challengers. This is his first season on a Challengers team.

posted 4 months ago

Praying you didn't say that last part unironically.

posted 4 months ago

Why downgrade like dat

posted 4 months ago

What region/team did that

posted 4 months ago

For real, showed he had what it takes in EMEA after not getting offers he wanted in NA, on a flex role no less. Really flipped his rep as a player after getting know through NA ranked. Wonder what will happen with demon1, maybe we could see him on NRG

posted 4 months ago

Literally all that had to be said.

China owns riot dumb dumb

posted 4 months ago

What about stealing estrella from rrq? I feel like how PRX got to the top in pacific was by buying out all of the best players (jing, something, monyet)

posted 4 months ago

I agree he's in good form, I just have this feeling that fnatic is going to get group'd and he won't get as much as time to validate expectations.

posted 4 months ago

fr, this mf left his marketing account on auto-withdrawal.

posted 4 months ago

I'm ngl bro, any region that wants can take you. If I was Trudeau, I would identify you as a Snow Eskimo. Your comments and takes are weird.

Issue is jingg and something can only play duelist on it, but as sliggy mentioned on stream, the meta comp is pretty well defined. Imo only suitable course of action w/ this roster:

Mindfreak on omen
F0rsaken or d4vai on Sova
F0rsaken or d4vai on KJ
Something learn Kay-O
Jingg play meta duelist

One of these or they make a big change somewhere.

posted 4 months ago

Bluds are acting like all yay did was bait. He entried on jett lmao

posted 4 months ago

Who would you get to make them a different team? I feel like they need a dedicated igl

posted 4 months ago

I honestly feel like the best raze title is as hyped as the best jett title used to be. Now it's all about who's the best neon.

Jokes aside, I feel like t3xture, qutioner, and zekken are the best by region. Neon is getting picked a lot more on maps raze was popular on

posted 4 months ago

Buzz would clear against the teams this guy has faced

posted 4 months ago

Tex is a good choice, or kingg. Hope they don't get grouped.

posted 4 months ago

winner: Gen G
most overrated team: Fnatic
most underrated team: G2/KRU
most overrated player: Derke
most underrated player: Icy (Pls bro, pop off, ik u can do it king)
team that is gonna choke and flop in groups: SEN
mvp of the event: t3xture
player that pops off on an ass team: Primmie for Talon and Flashback for DRX, maybe Sayf for Vitality. Depends on groups.

posted 4 months ago

Yo that's crazy, u right. Who woulda thunk.

e: Like, demon1, one of the world's best jetts? Jawg, one of the best razes who can also flex? Boostio, the IGL of the team that won last year? Ethan, NA's most experienced T1 player?

Nah, the guy who was always lurking as sova on fracture of all maps.

posted 4 months ago

Won them that last half with those multi-kills, vamo kru.

Sad not to see 100T make it to champs, but I'm KRU will continue their streak of attending Champions.

posted 4 months ago

I think he's flexed Kayo a decent amount since last year when they had will. Him, tenz, and ethan are the three best in NA that I can think of off the top of my head.

posted 4 months ago

I agree w/ u, I was just joking because you're just coincidently using Marxist phrasing. Don't mind me.

Happy to see the same core from 2022 playing after winning ascension, I'm happy they dropped neT though. Leaf can play pretty much anything, so if Icy can show some more consistency, I think they have a chance at winning Champs.

posted 4 months ago

I was saying if they also added jawg when they added leaf at the start of the season, dropping net prior to split 1.

posted 4 months ago

Pretty sure he played it before being on EG w/ c0m, but dropping victor makes more sense since Ethan is better at flash roles.

posted 4 months ago

I mean, that lotus game where sayf popped off w/ 411 ACS on raze was an impressive diff, especially since Miniboo didn't play all that badly. Pretty late in the season to make a change like that for no reason, I see your point and all, but let minboo try and get back into form before the end of the season before deciding to cut him. Won't be easy since his brother is IGL of the team, but we'll see.

Also, I would be much more afraid of a team with crazy skilled flex players like wo0t (i.e. fnatic with their lineup) than having someone as good on duelist just to have pati rejoin the team.

e: and we can't blame their struggles against vitality right now solely on heretics, because VIT just put Sayf back on duelist the last half of this split and it's made them a better team.

I think kendrick's been the top of the gen x/millennial born rap dem for a decade. He's had critical and commercial success, done the superbowl, done sold out world tours. I'd say he's as successful as Jay, em, and all them, more successful than most 'GOAT' candidates. Only thing is kenny ain't as flashy with his business outside of music. Jay Z sort of established himself as a business man after being successful, then had his comeback album that was great, married Beyonce, owns ciroc, et cetera. Ppl dont find shit out aboht kendrick unless its through his music.

E: not in that order about hove

Tl;dr - kenny won rap a pulitzer within 6 years of being a rapper, got his grammies n shit, all your greats have good music but the canon bias is strong. Kenny has had more success than these older guys ur mentioning like 50c, and in less than half the span of career.

posted 4 months ago

Blud isn't as good on smokes, kinda average tbh, is honestly sort of a chamber/jett one trick. Easily one of the better NA Jetts rn tho

posted 4 months ago

Probably selling jawg and potter

posted 4 months ago

I would have preferred they drop crashies and just put ethan on his roles, and victor on ethan's flash roles. They could have just done what 100T has been doing this year, and EG did last year, have demon1 play jett on some maps, have victor play raze on some maps

posted 4 months ago

Imagine G2 guard core with leaf and jawgemo instead of icy.

Champs winning roster right there

posted 4 months ago

Who doesn't like nzr?

posted 4 months ago

Wouldn't have changed the situation for the gambit boys though, sadly.

posted 4 months ago

Boostio only became committed igl in 2023, he was a pretty mediocre player otherwise.

Jawgemo ill agree people knew how good he was.

Your only rep as a coach is through word of mouth (I.e. so and so is a great coach because they do regular vod reviews and know how to help the team reset in tac pauses) or results (I.e. potter's team winning champs; performing above expectations with different teams).
