We're talking about PRX here... Even if they do beat BOOM and DRX, you already know they'll choke and go 0-2 in Toronto
Sht talking APAC when they're finally starting to get good is insane.
Last 3 winners of an international tournament was APAC and CN
I have nothing against them but having them qualify would be a massive waste. We all get the script
Hopefully DRX or BOOM can get rid of em
Think we'll ever see a team win 3 international tournaments in a row?
People just like to cry.
A team wina a tournament because they were the best during that tournament. Not their fault that the team you were rooting for wasn't good enough to beat them.
A win is a win. Doesn't matter how much the fan base cry over it
Damn... Bangkok winner and 2024 champions winner (Bangkok #3) both don't qualify.
Imagine if neither do DRX (looking likely) and VIT don't manage to qualify either. That'd be crazy
Which of the remaining teams to qualify do you think would perform the best at an international event (3rd team).
Obvious picks are T1, DRX and BOOM for me.
My issues with all 3:
T1 played crazy good during kickoff but they seem quite weak currently. Even weaker than BOOM and DRX
DRX is lacking that consistency... I expected a easy 2-0 against RRQ and they take the L. Let's be real, RRQ ain't making it top 4 at Toronto.
BOOM. They seem like great candidates but... Is GenG that good now or are they doing what people expected them to do and choke at playoffs? (Which would mean they'd struggle and take the L at international).
Having them qualify is such a pain for Pacific. Pretty much a wasted slot considering that we know they'll struggle to perform at international
GenG 30% v Boom 70%
DRX 80% v RRQ 20%
My odds of the teams winning today
I would love that outcome but I'm giving 80-20 in favor of BOOM. Ofc, still yet to see BOOM perform in play offs so I guess we shall see soon. Banger match for sure though!
APAC is honestly that string this year. So much potential top tier talent.
T1, DRX, BOOM, RRQ, GenG
Was shocked by the amount of hate GenG was getting when they lost map 1... Keyboard warrior much?
They're literally the most chill team out there, always having fun, noatter what.
Be grateful. It's korea who won both trophies that Pacific have
Believing that a team like BOOM, Talon or RRQ have the conistency to win an international i crazy
Over... aren't we a few minutes from reaching 25+ already?
Who's ready for tech pauses!!!!! OMG I'm so excited!
My brain had a seizure. Nothing happens tomorrow
EDG all depends on their first match. I'd give em 50/50 against BLG
T1 has been playing like sht. Hopefully they were testing stuff out and not playing seriously (which I doubt). Their first match against Talon will tell it all.
VIT ain't anything crazy but they are top EMEA unfortunately. Even with their loss against FNC
FUT is still xeus 1v5
My guy singlehandedly winning maps
VCT EMEA breaks a world record.
Most tech pauses in a year in the esports scene
Source: Trust me bro
G2's current team is incredibly unlikable... but even I can't deny that they are without a doubt top3 this year.
Strong shooters, good teamwork, good gamesense. But very boring to watch and unlikable
I'd be surprised if they don't win at least one international this year
This is some Tier 4 level gameplay... wtf am I watching
BOOM is legit.
RRQ are gonna choke
BOOM has a chance to do well at international
RRQ does not have the consistency
This is even more boring that tier 3 valorant
My god, always drama with irrelevant and useless players.
You can't call FNC v LOUD a fluke when they ended up winning 2 international tournaments in a row. If I'm not wrong, they're the only team to have ever done that. If anything, least fluke win
All aim and no strats. I don't think I've seen a team with such bad execution before.
And even when it comes to aim, it's been quite shakey recently
This is such a good top 5... I'm a bit doubtful about Less, but the other 4 are currently top tier for sure
This guy's favorite weapon is Odin... never seen someone buy this gun as much as him in the pro scene.
They were never bad ngl
During kickoff, their performance was still amazing. They just needed that extra push from losing games closely to winning and hence going 4-0 in Stage 1.
I'm quite impressed. Now the question is: Can they perform at an intenational the way they do here (if they qualify, which is looking likely unless choke and incosistent when it matters)
We got ourselves a top tier analyst here. Based claims!
Feels like she doesn't fit well in the current meta, yet T1 plays them on Icebox.
Is it just me or are they struggling more now than they did in Bangkok?
