Tbf, 2024 as a whole was an extremely weak year for Valorant
SEN is sht, that's what happened.
No need to look deeper into it
They were always sht.
They un ironically have the worst journey in VCT. Both of their wins are the biggest Mickey mouse tournaments. And for the rest, they suck complete ass
BOOM esports winning a tier1 spot would've made this year's new teams look incredibly weak.
2G, Apeks and the Chinese team will guarantee bottom 3 of their regions with their current roster.
Luckily SPG won that. They were incredibly consistent throughout the entire tournament and year.
Even on a bad day, they defeated BOOM in the grand finals.
They really don't... They loose every single match next year
I thought at least one team making it to tier 1 would be good enough to perform well in tier 1 but seems like it won't be the case.
Apeks, 2G and now BOOM... What a waste of space.
I thought at least SPG would get qualified. Their roster is strong and consistent and could possibly be top 3 pacific
2024 was all about Europe, China and Pacific.
2025 will likely be even more dominated by Pacific.
Unfortunately, Americas is old news. American talent is depleting quite fast
Both teams look incredibly bad but so far it isn't looking good for FS
Today we'll find out who earns second place.
It's not like Amy of these teams have a shot at beating SPG
Considering they lost to a random sht tier 2 roster, they wouldn't survive in tier 1
If the only team that put up a fight against SPG (RID) is struggling against BOOM (team that SPG annihilated), this basically confirms the outcome
Nah, just keep SPG as they are once they go to Tier 1. They'll do quite well
They're a team with 5 great players unlike Apeks for example
That would not surprise me. Valorant is about to become LoL
Korea and China on top
I cba to lookup who won what so I'll just say that this post was made with your bum cheeks. Sounds fair enough, no?
Waiting for TL to cook. They're the highest earning esports org for a reason
I believe
Any of the Korean teams... stacked this year. Even more than last year
The contenders for the grand finals are quite obvious... SPG, RID and FS.
I'd say it'll likely be SPG v RID
Dumbest sht any human has ever said.
Sounds like a whole lot of crying when Fnatic is the most profitable org in valorant along with the most dominant year ever
We're talking about NA... did you really expect common sense or logic from them.
Have you seen what their countries have become. How dumb their people have become.
Viewer experience isn't a priority to them.
Company profit is paramount. The more the better.
You don't actually expect them to let go of a single dollar in order to increase viewer experience do you?
Overall, the team who's made the most money in esports history is Team Liquid
edit: from tournaments. Not including sponsors etc
League of Legends - T1
Valorant - Fnatic
CSGO - NAVI
Apex Legends - TSM
Overwatch 1 - SFS (NRG)
Dota 2 - OG
That could be it... IF it were just NAVI that did this. But no, it's every single team
Someone explain to me why these players never play for time (bomb exploding)
They ALWAYS go for ego peaks instead unlike in valorant.
The only region that would deserve separate regions is Pacific.
Americas is the past. Every year they get weaker whilst Pacific gets stronger. South Korea is likely the next region that deserves their own region
They struggled against DSG... that probably ain't happening
They hands down deserve more. They're the future of pacific valorant just like in LoL
They're definetely making it to the Grand Finals.
That korean talent is just way too consistent.
Korea v Korea in the grand finals (RID v SPG)
They can't really do that, otherwise korea would win every single international event
This year's tier 2 americas teams sucked bad.
The best player of last year's tier 2 are already in tier 1
You can't just keep winning games whilst losing with a 13-3/4/5 map... you'll only get away with that for so long in Tier 1
Double elim is WAY better
Give it up. Americas is getting weaker each year
I'm expecting it... dropping two maps in a best of three with a 13-4 and 13-3 doesn't inspire confidence for the grand finals.
Now that we've seen every team play, which teams do you recon will make it to the grand finals?
For me, most likely scenario is SPG v RID.
BOOM Esports is also a likely contender but that's about it for me.
More practice for them I guess... tbf, they look like the strongest team in the tournament which was to be expected. I'm guessing a RID v SPG Grand Finals
