Viewer experience isn't a priority to them.
Company profit is paramount. The more the better.
You don't actually expect them to let go of a single dollar in order to increase viewer experience do you?

Overall, the team who's made the most money in esports history is Team Liquid
edit: from tournaments. Not including sponsors etc

League of Legends - T1
Valorant - Fnatic
CSGO - NAVI
Apex Legends - TSM
Overwatch 1 - SFS (NRG)
Dota 2 - OG

SEN already choked. They're done for

posted 4 weeks ago

I'll despair if he joins gentle mates -_-

posted 4 weeks ago

That could be it... IF it were just NAVI that did this. But no, it's every single team

posted 4 weeks ago

Someone explain to me why these players never play for time (bomb exploding)
They ALWAYS go for ego peaks instead unlike in valorant.

posted 4 weeks ago

The only region that would deserve separate regions is Pacific.
Americas is the past. Every year they get weaker whilst Pacific gets stronger. South Korea is likely the next region that deserves their own region

posted 4 weeks ago

SEN is fucked haha

posted 4 weeks ago

They struggled against DSG... that probably ain't happening

posted 4 weeks ago

They hands down deserve more. They're the future of pacific valorant just like in LoL

posted 4 weeks ago

They're definetely making it to the Grand Finals.
That korean talent is just way too consistent.
Korea v Korea in the grand finals (RID v SPG)

posted 4 weeks ago

Relax, he's playing against a F tier team

posted 4 weeks ago

Eitherway, SEN is fucked for 2025

posted 4 weeks ago

They can't really do that, otherwise korea would win every single international event

posted 4 weeks ago

This year's tier 2 americas teams sucked bad.
The best player of last year's tier 2 are already in tier 1

posted 4 weeks ago

I'm making an educated guess. It'll last around 6 months

posted 4 weeks ago

You can't just keep winning games whilst losing with a 13-3/4/5 map... you'll only get away with that for so long in Tier 1

posted 1 month ago

Who?

posted 1 month ago

Double elim is WAY better

posted 1 month ago

Give it up. Americas is getting weaker each year

posted 1 month ago

I'm expecting it... dropping two maps in a best of three with a 13-4 and 13-3 doesn't inspire confidence for the grand finals.

posted 1 month ago

Now that we've seen every team play, which teams do you recon will make it to the grand finals?

For me, most likely scenario is SPG v RID.
BOOM Esports is also a likely contender but that's about it for me.

posted 1 month ago

More practice for them I guess... tbf, they look like the strongest team in the tournament which was to be expected. I'm guessing a RID v SPG Grand Finals

posted 1 month ago

The sound quality is horrible...

posted 1 month ago

I really wanna see DFM do well in 2025...

posted 1 month ago

SPG v RID

posted 1 month ago

Production wise, very true but Pacific Ascension is hands down the one with the best talent and strongest teams.
Americas and EMEA Ascension is a joke this year as opposed to last year.

posted 1 month ago

Now that's a surprise.
I head off to sleep after them getting destroyed 13-4 and 13-5 and come back with them winning 3-2.
Must've been an fun comeback.

So what happened? Did M80 start playing well or did AK start playing like sht

Americas is cooked

SEN took the L

LoL Worlds 2023.
T1 v Weibo Gaming in Grand Finals. Weibo gets demolished because they had a lucky bracket run (BLG had a bad day and Weibo had a good day).
We all knew T1 v JDG was the real Grand Finals.

posted 1 month ago

Single eliminations is dumb and unfair.
Odds of getting two finalist teams in the same bracket and get eliminated early on is extremely likely.

LoL Worlds last year is a prime example of that. We had a shitty grand finals with T1 destroying Weibo when we all knew JDG v T1 was the real grand finals

posted 1 month ago

I hope it doesn't happen. I don't want the only belgian player in a shitty french org

posted 1 month ago

I hope Fnatic makes another clean run in 2025 just like in 2023. Except this time, they take home all 3 S tier trophies

posted 1 month ago

He was previously in KC so... Any other team

posted 1 month ago

Please don't tell me I waited a year for ScreaM to play competitively again only for him to end up joining a french team... Surely the Gentle Mates talk is just a rumor right?

posted 1 month ago

Don't overestimate FS
They struggled in their own region. I'm doubtful about their odds of making it to the finals

posted 1 month ago

You're talking out of your ass. Americas is looking so incredibly weak in tier 2
They'd get demolished

posted 1 month ago

Most likely. So much talent is coming out of South Korea recently
Even Japan's teams are stacked with top tier korean players

posted 1 month ago

RID v SPG is Grand Finals worthy

posted 1 month ago

South Korea and China is the future of Valorant. Same as in League of Legends

posted 1 month ago

LMAO that's just sad! RNT give up already holy sht
Unable to kill a 6hp player in 1v4

posted 1 month ago

Fair point. Hopefully they'll keep up that form in map 2 xD

posted 1 month ago

They did look weak at the start... I expected them to demolish RNT with a 13-5 or so

posted 1 month ago

It's crazy... always the SEN fans
Hard to be convinced that 90% of them aren't 12 year olds cringe lords

posted 1 month ago

Easily

posted 1 month ago

Nevermind, the two good players are both from kazakhstan

posted 1 month ago

I miss watching pearl... my favorite map to watch being played in esports

posted 1 month ago

That would indeed be a scary team on paper.
Then again, look at NRG 2024. All comes down to how well they work together
