Upper part of bracket was stacked, all matches were close, sometimes just luck decided who goes further

G2 would've won against BDS or this weak Tenstar easily, and wouldn't need to start from open qualifiers

1. Absolutely random and fucked seeding, majority of NA teams haven't competed in any tournaments since the end of LCQ / Stage 3, you can't really make a fair bracket, some parts will be stronger like Guild-Giants-Yonk, some parts will be weaker like Rix-Wave-Queso-Rebels

2. The whole process lasts 4-5 days according to multiple sites (Jan 27-31), which means there won't be Challengers 1, Challengers 2, there will be a SINGLE Challengers week, you lose once in open qualifier - you're out

3. Gotta select 12 "best" teams based on this singular Challengers week, who will play for a long time afterwards for Masters spots, everyone else who got unlucky or didn't adapt to Neon fast enough will have to fuck off, despite them maybe deserving the spot

Riders are just bad, look at their past matches, they almost lost to polish mix who played 4v5 3rd map, almost lost to another mix as well
