so gentle mates and the new ascenion org only have 1 year left now?

losing to Near Airport in a 5v5 FPS shooter is actually crazy, we need prime astralis to restore order bros

posted 4 weeks ago

also navi apparently want to develop the Ukrainian scene inside valorant, problem is, all ukrainian younglings are deeply rooted in CS

posted 4 weeks ago

I just don't feel like NaVi should have gone into valorant tbh. I know why navi wanted to go, that's kinda obvious, but I think they needed to axe other disciplines before that. their CS roster is their only consistently great team, other divisons are struggling. Them delegating valorant to a player like angel in the beginning of it was a foolish move. NaVi was brought in as an Eastern European team, but no one in eastern europe gives a shit about valorant. and navi aren't even interested in developing eastern european valorant, in every game they participate they are going more western.

posted 4 weeks ago

how is it fair that a roster which has just won champions has to disband because their management forces them to earn less, and when they pursue another offer with a higher salary they risk being kicked due to poor results and then never being picked up again

posted 4 weeks ago

but EG still axed their champions winning lineup due to salary

posted 4 weeks ago

G2 are a definition of multinational.
Navi have a CS roster with a Romanian, a Finn and a Lithuanian which has now won the major. Navi basically had players from all of Eastern Europe, and I even think they had an NA lineup in DOta

posted 4 weeks ago

how many teams maximum in a divison?

posted 4 weeks ago

I didn't quite understand out compete, but don't you think that tier 2 getting sacrficied just fucks the scene talent pool?

posted 4 weeks ago

but most of the orgs who were around the top of valorant have had plenty of cash, no?

posted 4 weeks ago

but it is not a problem for games like CS and Dota, where the circuit is open, some orgs function there for dozens of years with new ones entering as well. Champs could easily make team bundles for participants of masters, champs as well, no?

posted 4 weeks ago

Are you as fans enjoying franchising, or do you think an open circuit would be better? In my opinion, as someone who is just getting to know the pro scene of val, think that franchising locks a lot of the orgs away from the game, however a more structured esports scene is probably better for investors.

I don't know what riot defies as a russian team, Virtus Pro are now technically an Armenian ORG with a HQ both in Yerevan and Moscow, so idek how riot would solve it. Spirit on the other hand are in Belgrade and are anti war, so I think they could theoratically join

posted 4 weeks ago

G2 has always been an EU Org, founded by well known Carlos a.k.a OCelote. a.k.a andrew tate friend

posted 4 weeks ago

saw, ef, fucking falcons, m80 is also improving. CS just needs more NA talent and with open circuit, it will be peak

posted 4 weeks ago

actually surprised, I ve thought it would be difficult for them to expand, since most of russian orgs are a no-go. Also I think spirit aren't interested in valorant afaik, their manager from dota never mentioned an expansion

posted 4 weeks ago

it is exciting when you look back on it, but during that stretch, it was just ''oh, astralis just ass fucked mibr 16-0, yawn'' late 2019 was peak cs

posted 4 weeks ago

And it clears 2021-2022 by a mile where it was just Navi shitting on everyone, then navi collapsed due to war and then faze shat on everyone. 2024 is the best year for cs, teams like navi, mouz, vitality, faze, spirit, g2 are all title contenders, teams like heroic, liquid, complexity, vp, mongolz, pain, 9z, astralis are all capable of taking a series off of them.

posted 4 weeks ago

super teams are really a double edged sword. On one hand them clashing can become a fucking blockbuster series, but if there's like one superteam it just shits on all other teams and spirals every single other team into constant shuffles, and there is no guarantee these changes will make the teams better.
Example Given, navi 2021 in CS. Team outfragging every other team won like 7 events in a row, established multiple maps won streak and made every single event a ''will any team take a map off of navi?'' It did lead to other teams changing, but changes would happen anyway, that time in CS was just them farming every single team

posted 4 weeks ago

virtus pro with an australian lineup? What the fuck is a polar bear doing in Melbourne, Victoria?

posted 4 weeks ago

Team dominates -> its regional league becomes a cake walk, no one watches it because ''Oh why watch it when insert_OP_team_name will 10-0 it'' -> Regional league becomes irrelevant -> 2nd 3rd and 4th seed of this region become jokes -> weak region

Alfajer tried to inflate his aura but then every standing up he has done led to -aura and not +aura. Aura is supposed to be generated based on demand and not forcefully, sadly Lfajer only learned this during the Seoul - Istanbul flight :(

viper and neon clear tho, so does that make neon just a better jett in everything?

posted 4 weeks ago

good hentai tho

posted 4 weeks ago

just appreciate the game if you dislike the teams. Best combo is calling out the players you diss for being bums and frauds and laughing as these teams play. If you hatewatch, you will hatefind

posted 4 weeks ago

no one forces you to watch :D

posted 4 weeks ago

there honestly isn't a reason to hate an org imho, it isn't like football where rivalries are sometimes political, historical and even racial

posted 4 weeks ago

so you hate leviatan for cucking your favourite team, and sentinels and edg just because you hold them of a lower regard than they actually are, glad to see your hate is unjustified bro

posted 4 weeks ago

why would you hate an org which hasn't done anything to you?

posted 4 weeks ago

Don't you think a team like PRX has already peaked and after that it will only go down? Or DRX are just consistently 5-6th?

posted 1 month ago

kinda why people who don't play computer games look at any esports and think of all of them as retards, glad to see you think the same way

posted 1 month ago

''The worst part is, you can face completely dogshit players on the other team but if you have complete dogshit players on your team, its literally who ever is more dogshit loses; which in most cases is ON your team''
A wise man once said: ''You go into matchmaking thinking you are locked in a lobby with 9 retards, but all along the number of those retards is 10.''

posted 1 month ago

So then franchising can just lead to NA shitting on everyone, EMEA just folding completely and then it's GGs for the cross-region rivalry, heck, maybe even the esports scene dying

posted 1 month ago

I feel like franchising can lead to just one region shitting on other regions and therefore making it more of a joke than competition. Europe seems more concerned with cs, south america has 0 place to show its talents, franchising is slowly killing it, NA seems like the best region, China and Pacific are holding quite strong, however at this time they can only boast 2-3 strong teams out of 10

posted 1 month ago

all it needs are great OBS, not watering down the competition and showing the crowd, then they get it

posted 1 month ago

it shouldn't prevent the crowd from being active tho

posted 1 month ago

I mean valorant just didn't have good venues for their tier 1 events, and even when they do have them the OBS somehow ignores them or makes them quieter. CS has a good crowd anywhere except for Malta ( 150 people crowd) and Sheikh countries ( small venues). I like valorant because it at least makes valve do something time to time, but as an esports, CS clears. And I also dislike valorant's franchising, it is more about entertainment, not the quality of the sport. I would argue that this cross-region rivalry only brews rivalry for the sake of rivalry, i find na rivalries more intense, like Sentinels vs NRG will be a more personal matchup than Sentinels vs EDG every time

posted 1 month ago

great player, shit team

posted 1 month ago

I mean champs looks like a fucking lan party and then you switch to cs and see a cologne crowd going batshit insane, because you can simply see more of it

posted 1 month ago

I mean people shit on Brazil, but honestly, Brazilian crowds are the closest any esports has come to actual sport crowds. like fucking IEM Rio 2022 was insane in CS

posted 1 month ago

zellsis wins a 1v5 somewhere in New York.
Immediate ''U S A U S A U S A U S A U S A U S A'' Chants.
best atmosphere

posted 1 month ago

cs fans despise anything new, but then squirt when that new thing works out. I would easily choose Sentinels, loud, leviatan, karmine corp over ''orgs'' like fucking 1win, aurora, betboom, amkal, which are just used to advertize betting

posted 1 month ago

Easy fix, CS hosts drafts for Jett NA talents, Valorant gets a share of russian dead inside kids, making a switch from valo to cs isn't as hard as people think it is, navi academy has a dude who went from valorant to fucking top 1000 EU in ladder, I am sure na kids can do the same. MEMEA is a meme because it doesn't have anime kids like donk. You get them, add them to the likes of nats, chronicle, redgar, make a ru team ( playing for a non-russian org) and you create a player base inside emea as well.
Oh, and I am sure NA has some talent, orgs there are just recycling same people over and over, meanwhile the likes of lake, JBa are the real deal, they will bring back NA

the best player in the history of CS, s1mple, is currently locked away from competition by navi setting a huge buyout for him. No other team wants him, however he would be perfect for a new team looking to enter CS. Now, which org would love to get a hyped FPS GOAT coming off a break just for content and shit? Sentinels. So that's why i pitch my idea on how both games can grow in viewership, player count and help each other out. Sentinels buy out s1mple, create an NA lineup around him which goes on to win the Major in Austin, Texas in 2025. S1mple makes the Sen brand even bigger and his fans go on to watch sentinels in valorant as a result of it ( therefore making sentinels the clout org in both titles). Therefore, Sentinels will launch a resurgance in NA CS and s1mple will give valorant some of russian speaking playerbase.
SUMMARY Both games gain new regions, sentinels hatewatching gets new heights, Gayben and Leo Fartia kiss on stage, thoughts?

they need to host champions in USA for this atmosphere
