great phrasing for my point, like even the minority which is addressed like this uses it daily, ofc some one will pick it up

well he basically had a german guy troll the game and then he went on a rant and i quote ''I am not racist, I just don't like germans'' and then said '' motherfuckers, cya in hell''

posted 8 months ago

I mean he is an idiot for wanting to say the n-word, but I really doubt he is a racist, unlesssssss

I am just waiting for sentinels to stream ''SENTINELS VS STREAMERS'' and add ''fund our next year in franchising as an option''

bro, saying a fucking nazi salute is equally as bad as saying the n-word, for people in europe even worse

posted 8 months ago

rememeber black ops 2 montages? where most of them were just grown ass men screaming the n-word from the top of their lungs? Yeah that's probably why he thinks n-word is normal.

he will change, that's what happens when ranked dwellers encounter actual responsibility. saying shit when you are an unknown ranked demon = nothing, saying shit when you are a celebrity = problem.
wanna see a real example? https://youtu.be/vvhHPScS1m8 - here is s1mple, a grown man speaking to a crowd of fans mere hours after his homeland was invaded. you know what he siad 7 years before that? https://youtu.be/RvH6zkzpB8o?t=103
Now tell me, was s1mple a cunt before that? Yes he was. did he change for the better? yes he did. Why? Because people around him improved him and didn't isolate him like a dog

posted 8 months ago

#9, that's just the aftermath of being a gamer since childhood, he should be taught that it is not okay, but this is not something to kill the dude over

posted 8 months ago

oh yeah, for sure, but majority of people around him discourage toxicity so that's a given

your region's tier 2 has 2.5 orgs

they need ESEA S-Rank back

posted 8 months ago

I mean according to sources most people who are accused of matchfixing are blacklisted from a majority of tier 2 events, so cs does indeed heal itself

posted 8 months ago

I think they will, they seem to be fondly in contact with TOs over the rules for next year so I am optimistic

posted 8 months ago

valve were the first company to have their name switched out for o and 0, goats

posted 8 months ago

g2 literally bought the guard's players, TRGD drama was caused by their owners leaving, not by g2 buying them

posted 8 months ago

I mean it will eventually fuck them over, question is when

posted 8 months ago

I mean even if you kick all matchfixers cs still has the healthiest tier 2 scene

posted 8 months ago

volvo works both ways bro

posted 8 months ago

absolutely not, you can pay the buyout for all 5 players, they only change the name sake. If an org like TSM were to want to buy a Fluffy aimers core, they will buy them out, simply cuz they can offer more.

posted 8 months ago

the biggest problem I see is the tier 2 system, scary shit is that there is no realistic solution, franchising just prevents tier 2

posted 8 months ago

small orgs have less sponsors, less investors, smaller salaries. And bigger orgs will just buy out the rosters right before ascension, and riot will prefer bigger orgs over smaller orgs

posted 8 months ago

orgs guarantee stability, small stacks don't have them

posted 8 months ago

I mean valve have the opportunity to recover by just making the ELO depend on placements and not head to heads, riot on the other hand.......

posted 8 months ago

these issues are fixed with time

posted 8 months ago

Like i just don't understand how shit ubisoft or activision are if valve and riot are practically shooting themselves in the foot and they are still most viewed

posted 8 months ago

ok, time for an opinion which will probably cost me downvotes, but here i go. n4rrate, and most young pros in general, have 0 social norms. Most of them just dwelled their time after school by just playing games, where most people are inherently toxic. remember that saying: ''if you talk with 3 fools, you will become the 4th, if you talk with two intellectuals, you will become the 3rd''. The anti-toxicity mechanisms have only started working recently, however they weren't in place where n4rrate started playing, for example. He shouldn't get cancelled, but he should be taught on how to behave normally.

posted 8 months ago

people like you are the reason val is assosciated with e-daters

posted 8 months ago

Crazy how both of these companies are on top of the gaming world yet both do anything in their power to kill their scenes.
Rito - create franchising -> make tier 2 investments useless -> Kill tier 2
Volvo - make CS an open circuit -> make retarded ranking system -> make all invites ranking based -> Prevent orgs from getting into cs.
The level of their autism just shows how shit the other competition is

posted 8 months ago

shit is just unsustainable, 2-3 day short term loan of a stadium is the most profitable system, otherwise you would need for Riot to rent out the arena for 5 weeks (average length of stages last year) in cities like LA or Berlin it's just impossible

posted 8 months ago

but that's just rito's fault in getting such candidates in, and I doubt there are a lot of orgs who could possibly go instead of mibr

posted 8 months ago

how do you even think of number 4 being realistically possible?

posted 8 months ago

winning two international events grants you knighthood

posted 8 months ago

that's the funny thing, there isn't. CS and dota, meanwhile, are like top 3 in terms of sports popularity, navi as an org is 2nd in price amongst ALL Ukrainian sports orgs (Costs more than Dynamo Kyiv, the team with the most Ukrainian Football Championships in history), navi's cs victories are celebrated and honoured by the president and his office, navi cs roster featured in the Ukrainian Language Book and their victory at Copenhagen was described there, NaVi's owner bought 3 hotels in the middle of Kyiv with plans of a ''esports hub'' in Kyiv after the war ends, there are professional athletes involved in CS esports sphere (like Zinchenko, Ukraine's national team captain who owns a cs team), CS is so engraved to Ukraine that val basically has 0 chance of getting a fanbase

posted 8 months ago

I mean tbf those stints were some of the funniest shit to come out of navi, like seized (navi cs roster) not being able to cut a water melon properly :D https://youtu.be/flhKl-DiCY8 or one of their ex-dota players claiming the other player would stare into the plate of food for 10 minutes :D

posted 8 months ago

want the funny thing? All of navi's shit stints started with internal conflicts.
Navi CS kicked zeus behind his back in 2016
navi dota fell apart cuz artsyle argued with puppey
nabi pubg fell apart cuz of conflicts
GGs

posted 8 months ago

sadge that navi decided to just shoot themselves in the foot, just like they do in any other game except for CS. Like when rito were looking at applications, I am sure navi looked like this https://imgur.com/a/H1ZqPEz
rito just went: ''Wow, your cs division is so impressive, you are in'' and meanwhile navi are just looking at their dota roster which just screams ''kill me''

posted 8 months ago

how do you want relegation when franchising as a whole prevents relegation? There is expansion in franchising, there is relocation in franchising, but there is no relegation

  1. valid idea, HOWEVER contradicts with the whole point of franchising (Big american leagues are built in the same way and the worst teams aren't booted)
  2. the biggest problem is that the transition from tier 3 to tier 2 and from tier 2 to tier 1 is a cluster fuck
  3. just lock the winner of the international event to champs and let them use regional league as practice
  4. absolutely fucking NO, that's a way straight to hell with finances, OWL tried them, ask them how it went bud
5.LCQ for Champs just screams mickey mouse to me
EDIT. To add to point 4, reason why it's a terrible idea is that this is just not viable. Example Given, IEM Cologne is one of the biggest events in esports and the tickets to it are sold out mere seconds and days into ticket waves yet ESL doesn't find 4 day ticket sale viable, 3 days is the optimum.

so 12x6 = 72 teams, all funded by riot, all given franchising rights, all guaranteed by riots contracts? That shit will cost more than the overwatch league

posted 8 months ago

and have most orgs drop their division cuz there is no incentive to stay???? The reason so many orgs invested and got into valorant in the first place is that they knew that riot would switch to a league format, sooner or later

posted 8 months ago

Idek what navi are cooking at valorant at this point, like it doesn't look anywhere near structured compared to navi cs, more looks like navi dota, where players change just because others want them gone

posted 8 months ago

And you do realize that no org means that not so much talent will actually be in the tier 2, right?

posted 8 months ago

And now they have tiny chances of making it cuz they are either in on franchising or out completely
