he is looking better now

posted 8 months ago

what other was he supposed to win?
esl one cologne 2016 - SK Gaming too good
Faceit Major 2018 - Astralis Era
Katowice 2019 - zeus and edward trollink
RIo 2020 + 2nd major 2020 + 1st major 2021 - cancelled
antwerp 2022 - team in shambles

posted 8 months ago

true, but I can't blame him. I feel like he just needs to grind no matter what happens with falcons, and I am sure he will get back to top 15 level at least

posted 8 months ago

s1mple has been the most consistent pro from 2015-2023

posted 8 months ago

there is no way he went to the other team , he has a huge ass buyout, around 1.5 mil

posted 8 months ago

he would have been the best if there was no covid and no war, he would be 3 time major winner

posted 8 months ago

he got aim diffed but the setup was also weird, the T-side AWP was just afk staring into smokes, I would argue it would make way more sense if they just let him play 5th AK instead of AWP

posted 8 months ago

but then the data is incomplete and you also don't take metas into play

posted 8 months ago

irrelevant event-warm up before rmr-500 iq tactic so that falcons are underrated into the rmr-> 1.5 rating at the RMR, 3-0 at major quals, top 4 major

posted 8 months ago

3rd isn't as easy, even a huge journalistic source like HLTV needs more than a year to collect data for the win probability

posted 8 months ago

all good, this match was mostly for lobatards (lobanjica is a known fpl content creator, and a friend of s1mple). Like imagine having a stand in and then the enemy team joins and it's prime s1mple

posted 8 months ago

they are paying a lot for the loan for him, it would be dumb of navi not to loan him

posted 8 months ago

my goat will turn the tides around for lulcons, he will fucking stunt on those hoes

posted 8 months ago

why is it called ball and not spike

welcome back, the GOAT

B1t would shit on primmie

posted 8 months ago

I will not tolerate my goat's disrespect

posted 8 months ago

Bro that was the same when TenZ debuted in CS "OMG LOOK AT HIS MECHANICS" - proceeds to play like just an average player.

posted 8 months ago

Or NiKo, the most consistent rifler throughout history, he has wild mechanics but most of his fights is just S-tier crosshair placement

posted 8 months ago

Boston the Europe of America?

posted 8 months ago

if you pull it back then it works fine, it was only unusual at first

posted 8 months ago

but cs2 is pwetty :(

posted 8 months ago

depends on the region, in CIS no one knows faker, everyone knows s1mple.

posted 8 months ago

you just proved that you are not a racist, L

posted 8 months ago

mostly pro player opinion + content creators

posted 8 months ago

I think the best community map would come with the community saying what should be changed

posted 8 months ago

true, but then most map makers have a basic understanding of how an ability changes the map

posted 8 months ago

people seem to have hated community made maps less in CS

posted 8 months ago

I meant the maps. Like just basically their map is more loved by the players

posted 8 months ago

knowing his background, probably A-site mirage from CS :D a few hiding spots, 4 entry ways, height change, cover

posted 8 months ago

the way you play is correct but tenz probably asks for some diversity in bomb plants

posted 8 months ago

maybe their product can turn out more popular amongst the community?

posted 8 months ago

depends on what region

posted 8 months ago

bombsites should be played on and not played around

posted 8 months ago

I am lost in mobas so I don't watch so I always wondered where the online comes from? Korea?

posted 8 months ago

and then someone who actually tries would come up with a great map

posted 8 months ago

true, but I feel like it depends on the people around him. Like navi 2021 ( the best navi with s1mple) learned to just ignore the emotion side and focus on the advice

posted 8 months ago

s1mple has had several moments on stream, off stream where he was ''toxic'' to his team, didn't make him less skilled

posted 8 months ago

all i know is that most of CIS scene started at 10v10 publics at cs 1.6 on dust 2 where the most skilled players would gather and stick together to form the strongest teams. and that's the case even for the younger pros. W0nderful (navi's sniper and the most recent major winner) has been banned in his home city, Odessa, for being too good and winning all competitions. kyosuke, a.k.a CEMEN_BAKIN, who is the next big thing, has revealed recently that he started playing CS at Prison Break and that he only moved to 5v5 cuz he was kicked from Simon Says due to not having a microphone. Electronic has been a KZ top 5 ladder before starting 5v5, there are plenty of examples like this all around the CIS scene

posted 8 months ago

True, perhaps that's what prevents Sayf from being a winner? And I wonder if by the same logic you would consider s1mple a good player?

posted 8 months ago

and I wondered why no one has ever made a raze movement map like TF2 has made for Demoman and soldier......

posted 8 months ago

hard not to show emotions when your dreams and goals are fucked over by something which shouldn't happen

posted 8 months ago

I mean cs is in a worse shape than GO was, but it's getting better. hitreg improved, optimization (for me) improved, game feeling improved, server quality improved, I play on faceit where there is already an anti cheat so I have everything. IF they give more content and add an anti cheat alongside patrol mode, then CS2 will clear GO for me. as for val, I feel like riot have some sort of vision, but they are way too controlling, there is no way for community to project their thoughts and make them real.
I feel like valve just allows the community to control a lot of things, maps can spawn and be added to the game if the community likes them. but the community will play dust/mirage 24/7 and cry about having vertigo in the pool, like motherfucker, just play some Thera or Mills, these are new maps

posted 8 months ago

like it's funny to me how CS frogs talk about how ''chad'' cs community is but then none of them ever remember the true chads who are map makers/skin makers and people who run competitions. There are hubs on faceit dedicated to people who test and make new maps (most notable hub being mapcore, which has given the route for Anubis to enter the map pool and become one of the most popular maps).

posted 8 months ago

honesty =/ toxic. Like if your teammate just doesn't do the right thing and it costs you the round / the game/ the tournament, then you need to address it. It's a team game, correct, but team consists of elements and if one of the elements doesn't work as it should then it should be improved upon

posted 8 months ago

I wonder if valo has some sort of a workshop like CS does? Where the community can actually make maps?

posted 8 months ago

sentinels and their management is not the problem, the entire org system is. Salaries are too big, too many content creators, paying for LA is a lot

posted 8 months ago

riot fucked kazakhstan by banning ru leagues, that was like a bridge for kazakhs to play tier 1
