Some people actually think that bleed only stopped with salaries when in reality they didn't even pay all the buyouts :D

You offer contracts. Contracts are meant to be fulfilled. You buy players. The buyout clause is meant to be paid. You demand success. Bootcamps and other activities are meant to be organized.

Thread spawned 2 minutes ago and there are 3 different candidates for an igl role, I might have found the real problem

Their CS coach kassad gave a way bigger inside story imo

posted 7 months ago

There is no case to be studied, a team which relied more on their mechanics and gimmicks than tactics will never have a consistently successful time with developed competition

And for the other 10 years

posted 7 months ago

They are all friends with each other, have you ever considered the idea they are just slacking?

posted 7 months ago

I like to name these coaches cheerleaders. They are not that strong tactically, instead they just say shit like "stay focused guys"

Happens when a team sticks to their guns instead of evolving

And so begins the asian takeover of valorant, GGs

Kimi Raikkonen is streaming?

good teams take time to be build around, faker didn't go around every LCK team, he sticked to one org and it has paid off massively

posted 7 months ago

I am 100% convinced that when small aspas was grinding the shit out of fifa he would change teams every transfer window ''cuz it gets boring''

posted 7 months ago

last year Real had the perfect system, vini + rodrygo was a great duo in attack, bellingham could play a variety of roles, kroos had a season of his career, camavinga, valverde, guler, brahim, tchouameni all showed their worth, but now they have injury crisis + mbappe ego + no kroos which just sums up what's wrong

whenever someone mentions pros defending themselves I remember fucking nafany from CS :D, that's a fucking gem https://x.com/nafanyGOD/status/1672244419544711168

posted 7 months ago

if you are a mid player with a great mental, you will be able to grind more and get better. if you are a great player with a bad mental, you will have a high ceiling but a low bottom, if you are a great player with a great mental, you will likely be top 0.1% of the game

posted 7 months ago

it is interesting, which is why markets like tf2, dota and CS are so fucking huge in the number of things being sold or traded or some prices as well. But steam does it best cause steam is the best place for gaming, I really doubt riot's alternative could prove any better

posted 7 months ago

I would argue that mental is the most important factor out there, being confident in yourself just ensures you win a majority of your duels, that you are prone to make you more clutch and get more multikills as a result of feeling better.

posted 7 months ago

which is way ak 47 from cs go is the best rifle in all of FPS. Like the noises it made when you one tap someone are goated. I fully expected a bait thread but that sounds like a reasonable claim

posted 7 months ago

p2p means cases, cases are gamba in a lot of countries, riot will definitely say no

posted 7 months ago

Navi is actually a shortened version of Natus Vincere (Born to Win in Latin), afaik the 2010 CS roster which then went on to become navi was watching avatar and they liked the name navi so they just hosted a poll on what navi will mean and someone suggested natus vincere

Asuna and Tenz is that fucking lebron signing video where there's a dude to the right mimicking him

posted 7 months ago

Perhaps you start playing with your left hand when you play with a vandal?

posted 7 months ago

maybe a bit of a crazy suggestion, but maybe riot allows the non-qualified teams to play with the tier 2? Yes, it does turn it into a semi-open franchising model (which pretty much goes against the current franchising), but 10 teams out of each region don't make it to Bangkok, why won't riot make a 16 team event, 10 tier 1 teams, 6 tier 2 teams (after split 3/1 in tier 2, depending on the timing) and decide the remaining 10 slots for stage 1? You can easily run a swiss system with the worst of tier 1 and the best of tier 2 and fiddle out the pretenders

posted 7 months ago

There's a lot more to be ashamed in NAVI as an org (outside of CS) than just Koalanoob tbf

posted 7 months ago

outside of cs their big game divisions (so dota and valorant) are in an utter shithole.

posted 7 months ago

hiko major winner, sounds like a fever dream

OFF SEASON
'
' = betting and predicting this team for kick off with extra caution

posted 7 months ago

Well that has more to do with valorant being younger. Takes one bad generation to have regions and countries go from the top of the world to no ones, e.g. sweden and now denmark, france in CS, eu in LoL, CIS in Dota (before Spirit TI win). When val gets older it will likely get a dominating region as well

posted 7 months ago

spraying is a skill of its own inside of CS, tapping is pretty much pistols + long range, spray is close and mid range as well

posted 7 months ago

ngl, I think Leclerc will win Hamilton in H2H

posted 7 months ago

would be funny if max wins the 5th in a 4th car now :D
2021: closest battle in the 14 years
2022: Biggest point swing won
2023: domination
2024: retaining a lead with an utter shitbox
2025: Alonso 2012 on crack

posted 7 months ago

are we sure that the rbr won't build a shitbox?

posted 7 months ago

now lev can surely win an international lan when they play 6v5

posted 7 months ago

if he somehow wins a 5th next year I am 120% convinced he is the goat

posted 7 months ago

any chance trackers have a hs/kill graph as well or no?

posted 7 months ago

so in val it's basically hs/bullet shot and in cs it's hs/kill

posted 7 months ago

yeah see that's the reason I dislike the shooting :D Like in CS, if I don't kill I understand that ''oh shit yeah I did whiff a spray'' or ''well I kinda microadjusted last second'' but in valorant i have this paranoia that what I did was fine and some bullshit RNG happened

posted 7 months ago

if yay pulled 1.25 rating, M0nesy could pull 1.6 easily

posted 7 months ago

That kinda makes sense and kinda doesn't to me.

posted 7 months ago

oh is it? That kinda explains it

posted 7 months ago

4 am queue + verified search + no supermatch = ez streamer farm

posted 7 months ago

I misunderstood your question because I have thought I mentioned I had 66% hs in cs, not in val (don't enjoy the shooting mechanic too much), 4 hours of sleep kicking in

posted 7 months ago

and higher chance of playing with pros/streamers at my elo now :D

posted 7 months ago

I wonder what hs% he would have if he grinded CS instead, probably around 54-58 is my guess

posted 7 months ago

third party tracker of a third party platform :D

posted 7 months ago

insert brain_fart go to last 50 games, albeit I was kinda ass last few games :D
oh and correction, I don't play val, I was talking about cs, just seen a few people mention in this thread https://www.vlr.gg/424653/is-this-guy-legit-or-cheating that >35% hs is sus

posted 7 months ago

I would probably enjoy val way more if the shooting mechanics were as in CS, strafing and shooting just doesn't feel as good
