On one you get baited by ruskies into a political discussion, on the other you get baited by femboys into a cringe contest, both are equally disgusting

They at least have sticker revenue now due to miraculously making it to the major, surely that helps them a bit

As a journalistic institution HLTV wipes VLR.GG. it's not even a disrespect towards vlr.gg, Hltv are on par with huge big sport journalism, vlr isn't even close in resources. As for forums, both are brainrot

posted 7 months ago

How the fuck are they still in franchising lmao???

posted 7 months ago

have you considered the idea that moose and xeppa know the "right" people and know how to talk to them? A.k.a they are really good friends with the management?

posted 7 months ago

It seems you have made a critical error when asking this question...
You used logic to try and explain what c9 do

posted 7 months ago

Franchising is more profitable but Org dominated, which is why c9 doing -rossy fucks his career. Also closes off tier 2 and turns tier 1 into reshuffles every year, ak.a no consistency
Open Circuit is more fair but it can only run with a healthy tier 2 scene like in CS (where bookies are the main sponsors), and you still sadly have to deal with match fixers as your opponents. Although it does create a more stable scene with a pipeline of newer players and filters to sort good from bad

Whoever that is, good luck to that fella, that situation is the Titanic of valorant teams.
Goal: lead a team with no praccs together (due to Christmas and New Year) into the stacked Americas in kick off
Realistic Target: don't last place
Management target (a.k.a delulu target): make it to Internationals
In case of failure: Kicked and reputation ruined.
Step right up to the job, who wants such a great seat?

Agreed, edited now

Now that I am thinking about it, I will edit it, you would do a better job

EG spent money on CS? HAHAHAHAAH

posted 7 months ago

Sign a player, scrim 1 month with him (IGL btw, heard they are important for building teams), team improves over off season, blow the fucking project up cuz why not. Goal: find a competent IGL in 1 month time to lead a team without any practice (Christmas/New Year into a stacked bracket of Americas).
I salute how shit C9 management is, it's not even delusion, it's straight up sub 50 iq activity

posted 7 months ago

"Team decision" motherfucker you signed these players 1 day after Off Season started 😭😭😭😭 incompetent af

posted 7 months ago

I refuse to believe they are that fucking cheap for VCT, unless their entire management are CS frogs. So dumping 2 mil into 2 washed toxic CS players is a great investment but slight salary increase is where they draw the line?

posted 7 months ago

Did Rossy's contract get more expensive in a month time or what?

posted 7 months ago

There are 48 orgs in Franchising and C9 are the only who decide if they need a player when all the tier 1-2 talent is under contract

posted 7 months ago

Incompetent org, disband and give your slot to XSET/M80/TSM or anyone fucking else, thank you

posted 7 months ago

And orgs also need to perform. And speaking of performance, G2 got a slot in franchising, lost it because of their owner being buds with Andrew Tate, assembled a tier 2 team, disbanded it, bought a new team whose org fucked them over, got into franchising, and now have 1 more international appearance over c9 in franchising (c9's sole representation was at KickOff where everyone was invited)

My condolences, so sorry for your loss, tough shit to deal with when your parents die(sadly experienced it myself). As an advice, just hang in there, and know that your Mom will always be your number 1 supporter. Best thing you can do for her is just keep living. Of course it will be tough, first weeks after I had the same situation I was going crazy, felt like the world collapsed. Then reality slowly settled in, that life goes on and your loved ones would love to see you go on with your life and reach your goals

Val fans just now questioning C9? cS fans knew all along, after their Boston roster died they would go on and sign free agents from europe, creating the most insane weird pulls of players in one team, then went NA again, got some younger players (like zellsis), pulled the plug on that shit, went on to build the "Colossus", PAID 2 MILLION FOR AN ONLINER WITH 1 YEAR OF SUCCESS, Paid even more for mid players, imploded, disbanded, left, got given a major contending lineup for pennies, somehow that roster went from major semifinals to not even making it in 1.5 years. Then they bought two washed players from navi for 2 MILLION, made a star rifler an IGL, made the team so shit their star player said "fuck this" and went to donk, pulled out an AWPless team in counter strike, sucked ass, and then imploded for the 4th time in like 3 years in the scene.
EDIT. Oh, and they just got eliminated from the Shanghai major, where they choked a 2-10 in their elimination game, and their coach, groove, said the most ridiculous shit.
"I would say that this season is a solid B-" after not playing tier 1 tournaments for 7 months :). Also this genius is the one who decided to fuck over the family atmosphere in their first cs russian roster by getting a more experienced player (he averaged 0.78 rating in half a year), then allowed electornic, who has only igl'd in navi cuz navi had no IGL to continue that shit trend (he dropped 0.2 rating in a year, from 1.1 to 0.9), AWPer got so pissed after they sucked ass that he listed 4 different things as an excuse to dip (cs2 release, health, family, team dynamics)

posted 7 months ago

Any org who commits to a player, then drops him due to fucking scrims is just an incompetent piece of garbage who deserve to get 0-11'd

posted 7 months ago

In a perfect world, yes, but if you talk about dogshit players getting kicked, shouldn't it basically guarantee full disbands of teams who make 0 internationals in a year. What's the point of playing if you can't qualify to big events, from now on every org who can't make an international kicks all 5 of their players

Bullshit system where players have little to no authority over their own careers

posted 7 months ago

Regarding point 1, the best chance is probably Esports World cup, if valo gets there, cuz it basically has all the big games there in roughly the same time, they basically play from same venues but at different times

posted 7 months ago

Yeah but I already googled the difference, Sen got 250k for Madrid Gen.g got 350 for Shanghai, it honestly doesn't make it too stark of a difference

"The prize pools for 2025 haven't been announced yet afaik, but going off of 2024: Masters 1 is worth half of Masters 2." How much does the winner get?

posted 7 months ago

I really doubt their cs team makes a lot

posted 7 months ago

I would even argue that cs career is easier to pursue cuz of the open circuit, valo is locked basically

''hfhf'' instead of ''gl hf'' - cuz I don't need bullshit RnG shots
''ez'' when losing 2-13
''?'' when winning a clutch

posted 7 months ago

It one hits in the body, leaves you with 13-15 hp after a leg shot and that warrants it being a better scout. And noscope range isn't as strong, I was talking only about close range

posted 7 months ago

Well that's a difference in shooting mechanics cuz in cs it hits if you are aiming at the opponent

posted 7 months ago

That's why I am excited for open circuit, no systems putting frauds like col higher than grinders like passion ua. Passion have grinded for 8 months

Crazy how even people who don't watch cs notice this :D

that goes for every fps game no? noscopes aren't just random, there is an element of skill to them

posted 7 months ago

average esports pro hating on the game where he was on top

posted 7 months ago

There are literally two notable fucking clips in the history of cs with a flying awp kill, s1mple vs fnatic and coldzera vs liquid. No scopes aren't RnG, there is a mechanic to them, and most of great kills include flicks and quickscopes, which are skill based. Also it's pretty much a common and well accepted take that CS GO prime started in 2018, when smg were nerfed. Literally talking nonsense
