To be fair, EDG is directly owned by a rich dude who has a long history in esports. The Guard is a new org owned by a mega rich dude with a lot of eggs in many baskets who probably forgets the Guard exists

With the growing concern about orgs bleeding money and not being sustainable, which orgs are currently have the most longevity? (i.e. not necessarily making a profit, but having enough enough money or being owned by a rich enough person or group to continue its operations for years to come?

I would guess the most sustainable orgs would be T1, DRX, and EDG since T1 is supported greatly by SK Telecom, DRX has a lot of sponsors, and EDG is owned by a rich chinese businessman.

Supposedly 100T and TSM were the only orgs that made a profit, but I doubt TSM is making a profit anymore ever since the FTX sponsorship collapsed.

Idk if 100T's merch sells well enough to be a consistent source of long term revenue.

Yes because last year was relevant, and so was the year before that. Let's talk about Sentinels winning without dropping a single map while we're at it, because that applies to this year.

EMEA frogs can't help but cope, because their entire tournament run depends on it.

Americas #1 seed losing to Americas #3 seed must mean that Americas #1 seed is bad in their eyes.

They can't fathom that there's another team as good as the one that ran them over at Lock-in, because if that were true, then they would be forced to accept that EG and to an extent NRG can beat Fnatic, which is surely impossible; after all, Fnatic can't lose to anyone except Loud, right?

They don't want to admit that all 3 Americas seeds are the top 3 teams in the world.

What's more, they don't want to admit that for non-Americas teams, Loud's presence in the lower bracket basically makes this tournament single elimination now💀

bro's acting like Demon1 didn't go out of his way to get picked up by EG

Ok kiddo let me explain this for you. Your logic shouldn't change depending on the situation, because that makes you a hypocrite.

You don't even bother to check whether the thing you're disagreeing with is actually racist or not, because "it's probably not racist." in your words,
then your logic is that you don't need to even expose yourself to anything before knowing your moral stance on it.

Someone else could use that same logic to justify:

"You don't even bother to check whether the person you're refusing help is actually in trouble or not, because it's probably not serious."

No, the scale doesn't matter, because the same fundamental justification for both actions (or inactions) is the same for both situations, if your logic changes depending on two situations then you're a hypocrite, plain and simple.

You quite literally can't even tell whether or not the scale is the same because, once again, you didn't even read the post in question. You just assumed the level of importance and assumed all of the background; you have 0 clue whether it's important or not, and you have 0 clue what you're talking about.

You don't even know if the person screaming for help is actual dire need, for all you know they might just have gotten broken up with by their boyfriend. But, once again, if you don't bother to check either situation you'll never know whether it's something you should take action on.

tl;dr the scale of both situations is undetermined, but you choose to verify the severity of one but not the other before making a moral judgement on which one is important. That is hypocrisy at its finest.

Tell me if I wrote too many big words for you buddy

no, it means that all 3 americas seeds are better than EMEA 1st and 2nd lol

"I don't need to read it to know that it probably isn't racism and shouldn't care"

"I don't need to respond to someone screaming outside to know its something I have to help"

You got it bro, next time you're in need I hope someone tells you "I don't know what you're going through but It's probably not important and I don't care to find out, you're just soft"

posted about 2 years ago

I get it man, rhetoric goes over your head because you can't comprehend any genuine analysis, you can't even explain why you think my analogy is shit. your tiny little pea brain only understands calling things pussy

The funniest part is that you proved my analogy right with the first part of your reply LOL

BRO DIDNT EVEN READ THE POST LMAO. jesus christ how are you this stupid LOL?

this guy could hear someone desperately screaming bloody murder outside his door and think to himself "ah they scream for everything nowadays it doesn't matter"

"live your life" it's not that deep bro. I see something racist i denounce it because racism is bad. it takes like 2 seconds you're acting like I dedicate my life to this shit xD

Explain to me why this isn't racism. What would you consider racism if not this? LMAO

It's like trying to argue why the mona lisa isn't a painting kekw

Why would they make another single elimination tournament?

Every team that loses is gonna get fed to Loud like a chew toy

LOUD loses = LOUD is bad to them, because they can't fathom an NA team beating the team that stuffed their asses all of last year and in lockin.

They desperately want to hope that EG isn't actually this good because they're afraid. They want to believe LOUD fell off because they don't want to think about how LOUD is better than every single EMEA team

you're going to wake up from your delusions in the loser's bracket

Aspas was quiet on ascent. Unlucky but ggs to EG, both teams will meet up with NRG in the top 3

nah respect to loud, they still better than 80% the teams here

posted about 2 years ago

The stakes were high, he already had twice the kills as the next player on his team and LOUD was clearly tilted. Even if Jawgemo was lurking every round he was probably hoping there'd be one more so he could be the difference maker.

that was the funniest thing ive ever seen in my life

posted about 2 years ago

yes it's a stupid idea to go pro for the money, but once you are already pro why not take the money when it comes your way? surely getting paid a t1 salary while not having to hurt your reputation during matches doesn't feel too bad.

If any region deserves that champ slot, its ours since we have more good teams. Even Furia clears half of EMEA

posted about 2 years ago

I know I know but it's just funny to me that theyspend 90% of the year in NA and 10% of it actually in the region they're competing in lol

especially given their roster's history with NA, it's basically just an NA team

If T1 really is planning on bootcamping in NA again now, then NA unironically just has 6 teams this year lol.

It's just felt like T1's been staying in NA until they actually have to compete in APAC

if scrims meant anything MXM would be the 3rd best team in NA
