The reason is simple, while everyone is obviously hoping to win ascension, their secondary priority is playing well enough to impress a franchised team to pick them up--and everyone knows that if you have no clout, there's no way any team is going to trust you to be the next demon1 and design the entire roster around setting you up.

No, if you want to get picked up as a duelist, you have to show that you're flexible onto raze, jett, and even neon now.

Why can't tier 1 teams do the same? Just because someone is the best in the world at an agent doesn't mean it's worth it to try set them up. Just sign flexible duelists and stop hoping that the one-trick you signed will pull off a miracle two years in a row

I don't think they're gonna pick up n4rrate as anything other than a duelist because he hasn't played enough sova, and Ethan is already doing well on Flex.

I think Verno is a <90% guarantee because of Bonkar being the head coach, and FNS stating previously that the roster would be in the hands of whoever they decided to make their head coach.

Ethan is doing too good on his role to ever be replaced.

I'm willing to bet they're going to give Mada a trial but won't actually end up with him unless he starts hard carrying in scrims.

Derke is a bit out of left field, but he's a free agent now with supposed interest in playing for other regions, and the fact that he can play Raze, jett, and Yoru at a high enough level fits well with the ideas FNS had for the team last season while freeing up Ethan to perma scan initiator.

Demon1 option only seems likely due to financial reasons
