Thankfully Riot just fixed that

Not on ranked tho lmao

No, netherlands

People really think the million a year Riot gives it's a lot. To pay 7.5k a month you actually need to count taxes so it's about 10k you actually pay, by 6, % players and a coach that's 60k. 60k by 12 is 720k just in salaries. And salaries are gonna boost a lot in franchising

Ok so we've got LCS (but with South America too), LEC and an Asian league combining all the countries. 10 big orgs with a lot of fans from every region get chosen by Riot for a 4 years partnership (Basically franchised teams but they don't own the spots like in Lol, after 4 years if they don't do well Riot can kick them out so it doesn't happen like in LEC full of teams no one cares about and are just holding the spot like Astralis for example).

These leagues will also have a spring and summer split like in LOL, the winners of the first split are probably gonna be going to masters 1 and the second split for masters two, and then earn points for champs like already happens currently.

Then you've got regional leagues like in LOL but all around the world, this one can even be accessed from tournaments organized from the client in the game (Like a tournament mode or something). The winners of these leagues will compete in a sort of European Masters where every year the winner will be added to the main league (LEC) with a 2 years contract, adding teams until they get the leagues up to 14 teams per league. That way they will get to a point where every year 1 team will finish their contract and the winner of that year will get in.

idk if it's clear enough

No clue

posted about 2 years ago

Unless they get a franchising spot then yes, probably getting their own league once the game releases there tho

posted about 2 years ago

then the players will be picked up individually as long as they speak English, it would be dumb not to

posted about 2 years ago

Not in the big league, they just need to be Asian and they are

posted about 2 years ago

Probably playing in the Taiwan league, and can be signed by Asia league teams

posted about 2 years ago

LOUD it's a very big org, the fact that they are not in CS doesn't mean they don't move people. Plusnyou think Br is getting just 1 spot? Probably getting 3

posted about 2 years ago

Um, if by international LAN's you mean the leagues which will be played in LAN then yes, exactly what you said. If you mean Masters/ Champions no, they will have to win the league for that

posted about 2 years ago

Ik, still there just isn't an accurate way of explaining it, I can do Lol or other esport if that works xD

posted about 2 years ago

Can't really do that, no big leagues outside Europe and no can't mix clubs with world cup

posted about 2 years ago

rebuilding for next year good

posted about 2 years ago

Most of them are gonna drop players and if a Ghost gaming players get offers they are gonna split up

posted about 2 years ago

If they spoke English yes, they are gonna be already in the US anyway

posted about 2 years ago

Dude, to pay a player an average salary of franchised team which is probably gonna be like 10k but let's say it's 6 you need to actually pay 8 because of taxes. 8 by 6(players and coach ) it's 48, by 12 goes up to basically those 600k for a shitty salary.

Now imagine the average is 15k in NA which is not that rare

posted about 2 years ago

Idk I just know it affects so chamber even more broken on LAN

posted about 2 years ago

High ping?

posted about 2 years ago

Ok then, see you're right, but still they are the only company in the fucking world that does those AMAS, you might not like them but is definitely not something to complain about

posted about 2 years ago

By giving them a safe league tier 2 where they can establish themselves grow as an org and make their way up? Dude if you don't wanna see it then idk how else to explain it

posted about 2 years ago

Is this not something big? Many things they said will come have slowly been implemented

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not counting the replay system cause I don't believe they said so (could be wrong) but the opposite
Skin gifting, well technically there are free skins but Ig is fair to ask for more
Game modes, there are new gamemodes Ig
They actually did it faster than 6 months sometimes like for the last champions so that the picks and bans made sense. Now it's just not as necessary since you have to rotate maps. Look at Cs lol

posted about 2 years ago

I don't recall them saying that, I literally recall them saying the opposite, that replay system WASN'T a priority at all, which is bad but definitely a bad idea but still not a lie. Still if I'm wrong then yeah that's fucked up.

Still dude today are really good news, best competitive system of any game IMO, so let's just let people be happy

You've named 1 thing in 2 years dude, and that is minor stuff you don't know why the plans changed. RIot is the most transparent company dude have you even seen the patches where they explain the why of the changes and what their future plan is? They could not even do that like any other company. I don't think that is a reason to complain

posted about 2 years ago

So if your boss gives you the opportunity of earning more money you're gonna say that you already earn enough? What are you on dude, stop hating just to hate

posted about 2 years ago

When did they say they were gonna have Replay system? As far as I know they said they are not working on it

I don't understand what your second point is

You mad because they didn't make a giveaway or?

posted about 2 years ago

I mean it's clear that some packs were idea of the dude that decided Jett wasn't broken for over a year

posted about 2 years ago

This literally confirms is not gonna be as elitist as we thought dude, wdym

posted about 2 years ago

Literally dude! Like whaaaat? Valve much better not doing anything and letting others get the money

posted about 2 years ago

Who would have thought. So sad they have done something amazing for their game if it's gonna give them money!

posted about 2 years ago

SEN and TSM have good players in their region to sign

posted about 2 years ago

Not really if you are gonna rebuild you might as well just do it next year and not now, too much money to keep players salaries if there aren't any more tournaments

posted about 2 years ago

Actually now that I'm thinking about it you also get that region crash on the promotion which will keep that competition between minor regions alive and create narrative for the main league

posted about 2 years ago

This is according to Riot not geography

posted about 2 years ago

Okay that is actually true, interregional matches won't be as hype, or you can see it the other way, you will have that hype more often. At the end they are benefiting good level more than diversity and ig that's a matter of what you like better

posted about 2 years ago

You can't give a spot for 4 years based on having a good player on your possession rn

posted about 2 years ago

So what? Top teams with money get the better players with or without franchising? There's literally no way of preventing that. This system allows tier 2 to get up there and develop themselves as players, and I'm sure they won't place last anyway. (Proven teams are better than some teams that orgs will make just putting together random good players) But that's only speculation, my point is what you're saying it's unavoidable

posted about 2 years ago

I think you're a very wrong dude, if the region can't keep up with the level won't make champions but still will have somewhere to compete. Also spots are basically auto-regulated, even attacks the one team region problems dude

posted about 2 years ago

If you do really good and someone of the franchised doesn't Riot can make the swap every 4 years since you already have experience with them

posted about 2 years ago

How so, they are just letting results decide which of the old regions get their spots. It's the most fair thing possible, and keeps the game alive on every region too

posted about 2 years ago

Yes and no. I'm pretty convinced Riot has eliminated almost every single bad thing of franchising with this. Or at least the two main points

1 Orgs can't do that cause the spot it's Riot's so every 4 years they can be kicked

2 It's not a closed system where only people with money can get to

3 Creates a lot of expectations

posted about 2 years ago

Still everyone called it franchising, he means haters of the system

posted about 2 years ago

There wasn't going to be anything till next year anyway, paying salaries for nothing and it's not the moment to do roster changes anyway. Probably coming back next year

posted about 2 years ago

Then people really say this year's spots are actually fair lol.

But yes, that actually would be a good idea, maybe last years winner gets the 6th spot? That way no one can complain

posted about 2 years ago

Cause every year a new team comes in, so someone has to leave. It's kind of an obligated demotion.

But since permanent teams get it for four years Ig the teams that have performed well and already had the experience of working with Riot will have a lot of chances to be swapped with one of the permanents that isn't doing so well

posted about 2 years ago

And Ig they will get a portion of the benefits, that is gonna be insane. Kinda coping Cs but they could make gun buddies of players too
