2. most leagues outside of France and Spain dont make enough or have enough support to make it seemingly sustainable
3. The fact that leagues like CIS have been bonked all together (thats not rlly on riot though to be fair)

well yeah there should be some sort of VRL or tier 2 setup for non franchised teams in all regions, Europes structure has been decent so far with the VRLs, not perfect but its better than nothing.

tbh I dont think we'll see a single 3-0 between any of the next matches, it should be alot closer.
Optic will at the very least take 1 map off FPX, breaking that narrative, whether they win or lose against FPX remains to be seen though.

Regardless of who plays in the GF against PRX, I dont see a 3-0 happening either.

In the end I just wanna see good competition, but I agree people shouldnt get cocky or overconfident.

I would take 12 over 10, easily. 12 is what most regions challengers already run on, plus there are easily 12 Tier 1 VCT caliber teams in many regions, or atleast can equal that in combining regions (KR,JP & LATAM,BR). Seems like insanity to have such few teams in a league that can 100% support it

My predictions had 3/4 of these teams. (I had DRX beating FPX here) I would rank them based on their performances thus far at Copenhagen with it being

1. PRX
2. OPTIC
3. FPX
4. FNC

PRX have looked insane out of the gate thus far, its self explanatory, I have them beating Optic both here and in the GF.
Optic and FPX both had really rough groups, due to Optic slow start and FPX sub but have looked strong in playoffs despite FPX getting knocked to the lowers, and they look stronger than Fnatic has whos felt flat in playoffs, the complete opposite of PRX.

Not really a hot take. FNC last 2 games have looked shaky, granted alot of that also has to do with LEV and PRX being insanely good teams.

I also agree that the winner here if its a strong enough win could easily 2-1 or even sweep FNC depending on map pools
