100T played amazingly, with a vengeance for getting shat on in Stage 1
Guard looked undisciplined at times, just alot of unfortunate swing rounds as well, (Last round on Fracture, the one round where Will got a 3k in showers because they walked right into him)

Its one match you're all just impatient and so quick to call a team bad anytime they lose. Guard are still gonna look strong and come back after this one match, same with 100T, Their new roster is arguably the best out of the 3 iterations theyve had (imo) and could realistically finish top 4 in their group.

They're both still gonna make playoffs people

Guard, Optic, Sen, etc. arent allowed to compete in Tier 2 tourneys because theyre already "proven" teams

I think this is moreso a 100T being built up better than before and having that vengeance game, and Guard likely still being a bit unprepped not only for 100T but coming off Masters, aka 100T played amazing Guard looked out of form

a real slug fest right now between these 2

Ofc 100T is a Tier 1 team, theyre a top 12 in NA right now,

Anyone have the Saya spray transfer failed clutch cus the timing in the last round?

posted about 2 years ago

Anyone have a clip of that spray transfer? that shit was nasty

posted about 2 years ago

The most unfortunate timing I've ever seen ngl

Make it outta APACs gauntlet first, theyre prob the best in OCE but last i checked they havent gone to any Masters events sooo.

sane but has tsm beating nrg

C9 wouldn't change rosters unless they fail LCQ, I can see them in a top 4-5 finish in Stage 2, but their roster is pretty well rounded compared to most orgs.
Sentinels, I couldnt agree more they seem like borderline on a collapse and would need to go in rebuild mode if they don't do shit in stage 2
Faze and TSM just put together new rosters so unless they bomb out of groups and look terrible I.E. 100T in Stage 1, don't expect them to do anything major outside of maybe a drop one add one type deal.
XSET just needs to get over the hump, their roster is solid but not phenomenal.
V1, I can 100% see them doing something beyond just Zellsis wanting to be benched, the dude definitely needs to get some help, But what they could do with the rest of the roster I dunno, Zander, Wippie, Penny, and Effys make up a solid core, they just choked because they didn't have much practice with Wippie and or Wardell. But of all the teams named they're definitely the most likely to make moves.

Cryo is def in that top 5 tho

posted about 2 years ago

if this is legit then zamn im taller than everyone the list but dapr and shanks these mfs short as hell

posted about 2 years ago

have you seen the absolute degeneracy the twitch chat for official VCT events becomes? it makes vlr look like a utopia

posted about 2 years ago

Their core is fine just Wippies visa issues but that doesnt warrant him getting dropped
Effys is fine on V1, he may be the least consistent to be a fragger compared to Penny, Wippie, Zander, and Zelssis who make up one of the best firepower teams in NA, he plays his role perfectly with the team.

w for them

rookies to LAN, had to play a stronger Optic in the opener and then a very good looking and unorthodox playing PRX at Iceland. I feel like if they were in the groups instead of optic it would've been different for them.

so what youre saying is

"my source is that I made it the fuck up"

posted about 2 years ago

source and why?

posted about 2 years ago

LG beat Sentinels is my only change from that

posted about 2 years ago

I think its in a weird grey area because Gambit and most other russian orgs were getting barred from playing in esports events but their players still could under an independent name, thats what m3c did.

I love how NaVi is just "inconsistent fucks"

posted about 2 years ago

you mean sentinel fanboys almost as a collective?

Group A.

  1. TGRD
  2. XSET
  3. NRG
  4. 100T
  5. TSM
  6. Ghost

Group B

  1. OG
  2. C9
  3. LG
  4. FaZe
  5. SEN
  6. EG
posted about 2 years ago

if NRG goes 1-4, Sentinels is too LOL

posted about 2 years ago

S0m > Ethan
Saya > Trent
although the 2nd options are easily the 2nd best on their teams.

posted about 2 years ago

better than sentinels lmao

posted about 2 years ago

No it was 2 groups of 6 in stage 1

posted about 2 years ago

LCQ is 10 teams i think, not 8

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah 2 groups 6 each, probably next week we'll find out.

Skill differential mostly, altho players like Mel are insane and can go toe to toe with t2 and t3 pros, most female teams slide into that mid tier 3 scene overall with NA valorant, and most of the time theyre losing to teams that also have coaches and structure behind them, not even nobodies.

posted about 2 years ago

the teams that make playoffs (8 of 12 if they do the same as stage 1) my predictions are
Optic
XSET
C9
Guard
NRG
LG
100T
and either TSM or FaZe.
SEN, EG both have been really shaky through qualifiers
Ghost TSM and FaZe have all only just now escaped T2 purgatory and I don't expect any of them to pull a Guard and stomp the groups. But I have one of those 3 taking the last playoff spot, but it comes down to groups ultimately

posted about 2 years ago

Oh wow, another Sentinels post, but im really happy that they got rawkus back, all they need is a coach and more practice really.

Kanpeki > Zombs simple, and people that are in the fanboy camp wanted Sinatraa

edit nvm

if thats the group stage then sen goes 2-3 or 1-4

Not cap

posted about 2 years ago

A top 10 sentinel player for sure in NA, but the likes of Mitch, Net, Dicey, Wippie, FNS when he plays it, etc. Are all either above or on that same level

posted about 2 years ago

Yea, goes both ways I guess.

posted about 2 years ago

wouldn't initiators classify as support?

also other mentions are Valyn, Vanity, Dephh, Wippie, Pancada, Benkai, and Laz

posted about 2 years ago

Marved Mako Nats Sacy are a few that come to mind

posted about 2 years ago

ghost doesnt play either of them, but it can happen in groups maybe

posted about 2 years ago

Because people dont understand the concept of having a decent fragger/flex player being on a controller. Despite many successful teams globally have capable fraggers that play smokes.

posted about 2 years ago

Nats Marved Mako Zander Vanity and Sugarzero say otherwise, having your controller being a capable fragger is ALL the better. Sick on Omen has been pretty clean imo

"we are back"

Sentinels even if they qualify are gonna be lucky to make playoffs, let alone a top 4 finish, let alone making it to masters. Theyre not a bad team and do get alot of hate but the fans are just as bad as the haters. Dumpster fire of an org.
