so you expect optic to just waltz to a 5-0 in groups and then a flawless through playoffs? every good team takes a loss sometimes, also calling EG a tier 3 team is just flat out disrespectful

Meta changes, teams failing to adapt to that, other teams vod reviewing to counter strat, roster changes, other teams improving all can factor into a team beating another team, even if theyre considered a top team. None of them are flukes you're just smoothbrained because its better to have a more competitive sport than the same dynasty types dominanting.
I wouldn't call anyone that won a major event a fluke, because meta changes and roster changes, not to mention how teams adapt to changes and what not. Its a sport, not everyone is gonna pull a New York Yankees style dynasty. Not to mention other teams specifically trying to counter eachother can lead to upsets. But right now outta the big 4 teams that have won lans, M3C and Optic are the best two right now. But Optic just lost yesterday but I wouldn't lead to calling that a fluke. Same can kinda be said about M3C
NRG go on a hot streak all the way to Copenhagen, end up pulling a KRU champions type run there. Doesnt necessarily have to happen but would be cool.
That or we see someone other than NA or EMEA win Copenhagen (PRX, ZETA, DRX)
they still play under the LG banner until the end of Stage 2, then become orgless, will likely play in LCQ either under an orgless name (similar to M3C in EMEA) or be picked up by another org (which would be likely)
certified banger
victor goes through periods of being insane and then not great, he's still one of the best flex's in NA and easily the best Neon in the world. But his major problem is he isn't consistently popping off
NA just is alot more competitive and optic clearly are having an off day. EG have been on a hot streak lately so couldn't rlly count them out
Leave it to the non americans to explain to us how safe it is
Its alot safer than you think, unless youre in chicago. Shootings in general are uncommon but with 330 million people, fed ops, and news media overdramatizing it. It can seem alot bigger of an issue.
Healthcare yeah uk has us beat
Economy is debateable cus rn yeah ours is dog
Avg IQ is there any source to back that up?
def my second choice tbh, so u were close
I think they'd be middle of the pack, around the same level of sen, faze, knights, tsm, etc. your typical tier 1.5 in NA and 1.5 in EMEA feel about on the same level.
it was still pretty damn close, NAVI just choked when it mattered most
2-1 either way, Split and Icebox are super strong for both the respective picking teams. Haven will decide it
lets go NAVI
60k, used to be like 70k but losing points on betting
really good catch though by the observers
ngl its still early but 3 rounds running out of time def doesnt look good for TL
All I remember was that it went down the dogshitter when they started doing racing and the beyblades were sideways like a wheel.
But the og show was sick (Fusion, Masters, and Fury)
yeah just close the chat, thats what I do because its just terrible takes, regional supremacy arguments, or just overall toxicity. You enjoy VCT way more by closing the chat for the whole match.
EMEA: FNC, GUILD, FPX/M3C (toss up)
NA: OPTIC , 100T (could fall out based on how the rest of the chaotic group stages go)
BR: LOUD, NIP
LATAM: Leviatan
JP: ZETA
KR: DRX
APAC: PRX, ORDER
the entire LG roster
also someone needa get girl kissers (former renegades) an org too
BBG, GenG, Misfits all feel like good contenders to pick up the roster. We'll have to wait and see, pretty sure LGs roster are technically qualifying for LCQ at this point so someone will likely have to pick them up.
Luminositys parent company lost 8.6M in Q1 2022 and have been doing cost cutting all across the board, so thus I guess alot of the LG esports end up getting cut. Is it a shitty decision yes? But their players aren't boring and are easily in that top 8 of NA so hopefully their roster gets picked up by another org.
so the whole NA tier 1 scene, LOL
jonas is in LA now, so I don't think that'll happen sadly
best take, I've never found myself getting bored watching pro games even if its in a language I don't understand because every region ends up being drastically different from eachother. Its what makes international LANs great. Cause if everyone played the same it'd get pretty boring I'd think
buy a bundle for everyone who adds to this thread
top 8 hell no, but NA has never been just a one team region so I dunno what ur tripping on about either. Outside of this year where Guard bombed out and Sentinels and Optic choking at Champions every other event has solidified that NA is still a pretty competitive region.
Berlin: EMEA and NA both had 3 teams in top 8.
Iceland: NA has both titles so.
handles, I dunno, I think those two teams could easily be the grand finals of Copenhagen. But I don't think it would be a 2-0 or 3-0 like say what happened with Optic and Loud at Iceland.
Fnatic right now is kinda similar to Optic in a sense that both of them don't have alot of rep matches against teams in the others region.
Optic has only ever played Acend at Champions.
Fnatic has only played Sentinels, Cloud9, and V1 and they're 2-1 against NA teams.
Its definitely a match to look out for that I think could go either way.
mans rlly said steel 💀x7
ranked and esports are two very different styles of play though. 90% of ranked games are nothing close, even on the highest level. Currys a good player but he still has yet to show it on the tier1 level, hopefully he does otherwise C9 is gonna look stupider than they already do for trading Xeta.
NA has 2 LANs
EMEA has 2 LANs (with 1 more important being Champions)
But this is indeed a yikes from babysasuke
Optic prob goes undefeated in NA groups, either flawlesses playoffs or makes a LB run like they do, and then go to Copenhagen and hopium continue to prove that they're the best in the world right now, but Fnatic is honeymooning hard right now and are easily on the same tier/level as Optic rn. Either way if they play at Copenhagen it should be a fire matchup
Vandal attack
Phantom defense
Vandal on most agents
Phantom for smokes
Vandal for Crisp
Phantom for Consistency
Vandal 100% for Breeze Icebox
Other maps it can be mixed.
Aka it comes down to playstyle and preference, I use both pretty consistently but I personally prefer the Vandal because the one tap headshots being really satisfying
is there anyone other than genghsta tho?
best take
I don't rlly see how, I'm just saying its good by comparison to other disney star wars content. Just obviously has a few MINOR issues that depending on how seriously you take the show will either be something very noticeable or just gloss right over you.
Coming from a huge Star Wars fan I think its pretty good thus far, outside of a few minor gripes with how disney tends to ruin crap. Its definitely got its flaws like how they've messed with the canonicity of another disney show they made, some cheesy chase scenes with young Leia, and alot of bad writing on the villains outside of Vader. But thus far through 3 episodes I've enjoyed it and it definitely has potential, like its atleast better than a fair amount of other disney star wars content.
whatever teams have the biggest round/map differential
DRX are easily like a top 5-8 team ITW they just end up choking at a masters event but they very likely will win a title one of these days. Theyre just one of those teams that have alot of the pieces but just need to put it into execution
2-1 hopium for NRG just so we can get all of group A into a cluster fuck of 2-2. Ethan revenge game and prob gonna be the best game of the weekend
