NRG are a solid team, that breeze comp was troll tbh and well, c9 historically has always beaten them. It all hinges on the facts that both rosters are new now. C9 are still decent so its moreso the fact that it was their map pick and they played it really well.

I would hope that they have some sort of structured tier 2 scene to keep the game as a whole alive in the pros. I actually like the idea of having a few extra slots for teams that can promote or relegate through a VRL style league to be in tier 1.

Split was honestly a mid tier map for me, long term idk if I like Pearl more or not yet, im at like 60% outta 5 ranked games (had it 3 more times but dodges from ppl) and thats the same as my Split record.
Haven i agree is more annoying now as retake simulator im at like 30% WR.
Split objectively needed the most work, so it made sense for it to be rotated out.
