They beat FPX as well, and will do it again in the lowers

posted about 2 years ago

I'd say they're still pretty close, both the OPTC DRX controllers and initiators are top 3 ITW easily.

DRX 2-0 FPX

Finna shut Ange1 up

posted about 2 years ago

Lower Bracket run incoming, it was a really close match ggwp

posted about 2 years ago

Amazing Match, can't wait to see DRX make a LB run, hoping they make top 3-4. GGWP to both teams.

I have PRX v Optic as grand finals but would not be opposed to it being any combo of those 2 FNC or DRX as the finals.

I personally want PRX or DRX to win the whole thing

What the actual fuck was that 4th kill.

DDK is now GM of 100T so he can't be a caster anymore.

This is going to be a certified Banger.
Fracture, Breeze, Bind
2-1 either way

posted about 2 years ago

Should be a banger regardless of outcome hoping DRX is on their A game so it gets to be a super close match

posted about 2 years ago

Should be a banger, hoping Optic win here but I would not be opposed to DRX taking it. I have Optic PRX grand final so.

posted about 2 years ago

its cus they only ever support APAC when SA is playing. Then they come in full force. Every other time theyre supporting whoever else. Do you not remember how many GE threads there were going into APAC playoffs?

my pickems have the top 4 being

  1. PRX
  2. Optic
  3. Fnatic
  4. DRX

Any of these 4 can take it in my opinion, like my pickems could be wrong but this feels like the script so far.

PACKWATCH RIP BOZO

Loud v Optic was good
XSET v Lev was a clusterfuck but entertaining
KRU v Loud imo was also a really good opener match

But this definitely tops all of them

posted about 2 years ago

Best match of the tournament despite it being a 2-0 ggwp to both teams. PRX wins it all, gg go next.

posted about 2 years ago

PRX being PRX, about to 2-0

Make this a pro team when we get a 5th controller as well

posted about 2 years ago

L take, this series is gonna be a banger

posted about 2 years ago

This match in particular I feel like is gonna be insane. But yeah seeing good international competition is always the best.

posted about 2 years ago

NRG hopium in my heart. But if not them then Guard if they bounce back, Rebels, or 100T all would be good for champs imo. All comes down to if lcq is lan or not.

If its lan sentinels and c9 might have a better chance just based on experience

posted about 2 years ago

I actually watched it the other night cus it was in my recommended. Honestly like seeing teams behind the scenes esp for big events like this. More teams should do it. If anyone else has other teams that have done similar pls lmk.

That being said optics video producers are great in general.

mods let alot of dumbasses stick around on this site, Trembos basically a celebrity here.

XSETs 2 lan rookies played well despite the shitshow that was their entire Copenhagen run, really cocky and overconfident going in. Yeah sure you won your region but you still got shit to prove. But they're still easily a top 5 NA team on the server. They got humbled and hopefully they get their shit together for champs and do better there. But you can't just take a teams slot away for performing under their expectations. Maybe instead of shitting on XSET maybe realize that Leviatan played phenomenally and the match between these 2 teams was still a really good game despite the amount of throws. Majority of the 10 players are new to international competition anyhow.

C9A Mocking??

Mocking to actual C9 roster soon?

posted about 2 years ago

NA, XSET would be 2nd rn, yes they might've looked like shit on their first lan but as of right now, theyre 2nd best in NA.
SA, Fusion or VK for 5
EMEA, Agreeable list
Asia, PRX, DRX, ZETA, Xerxia, NTH would be the top 5 here, altho East Asia and APAC LCQ can kinda help clear up alot of the 4-5 range

posted about 2 years ago

mickey mouse lan experience is still nothing compared to any Major event.

I could say I've got LAN experience by going to one of those but that doesnt equate to an actual big stage tournament like Masters.

posted about 2 years ago

yes but would you count a tier 2 lan compared to tier 1 pro stage lans?
Dephh CSGO
BCJ Apex
Ayrin Crossfire

Despite XSET underperforming massively for the amount of talk they threw up there before they played their matches. Cryo and Zekken went nuts in their 2 series, the Guard comparison can't really be made outside of the fact that the NA 1 seed bombed out. XSET atleast kept it close in their match with Leviatan, and the 2 LAN rookies popped off compared to a full 5 team of rookies.

Future is bright with these 2 as a young star duo for XSET, it sucks that the rest of the team underperformed when they have that experience. Hopefully they do better in Champs.

posted about 2 years ago

it includes Brazil

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly despite being a shit show, good match, I would say both teams played well but that'd be an overstatement.

Everyone doesnt realize that BOTH teams have never played an international LAN until this tournament, and got stomped by DRX and Optic who are no slouches, they're still some of the best in their respective regions.

posted about 2 years ago

its funny too because people will trash on XSET or Leviatan players despite the fact that any of them could 1v9 vlr users

not hard to tell especially when thats literally all matrix has done on this site.
