Tokyo gonna be the same format as every other masters event in 2022. Not really the worst structure minus the #1 seedings.

LA for Champs will still prob be a decent format.

LOCKIN is a one time tourney show/exhibition to show off the 30 franchise teams, we will likely get 2 masters a year next year and every other following year (not confirmed but it'd make sense)

first off all 0/8 on the bait, classic shownu

LOUD, NRG, LEV are the clear best teams in the Americas

However teams like 100T, SEN, Furia all have likely chances of taking a slot away from 1 or maybe 2 of those teams. Won't know until the leagues start.

4 slots for EMEA, FNC still need to earn it

posted about 2 years ago

baiters regardless of region and what they say are all dogshit on this site and the fact that sometimes people back them up to only further start shit is equally problematic. But this is vlr and everyone here doesn't touch grass so

posted about 2 years ago

what'd you say about us, punk?

posted about 2 years ago

shhh dont tell them that

posted about 2 years ago

LOUD and NRG >> the rest of the americas but theres another 4 teams or so that are solid

posted about 2 years ago

C9 without Yay will be mid in americas, not MIBR/KRU/EG bad but mid

posted about 2 years ago

NA and LATAM celebrating because its our region thats getting the extra slot, baiters don't speak for everyone.

Exhibition tournament, not a masters, but it was still an enjoyable tournament, had some real bangers. Loved almost seeing Talon upset. Its a show tourney after all, get the world familiar with the 30 teams.

Tokyo is where it all matters.

Realistically LEV,
But 100T, Furia, SEN are all contenders with some time, but only when the league starts will we know.

Home crowds are gonna be biased no matter where, yea they should be respectful, we saw that in Istanbul too, they werent exactly respectful to loud or optic or any othee american or some asian teams

posted about 2 years ago

Naw idc, im just being deadass. I don't have shit against anybody or any region i just dislike anyone that goes on about emea better na better. I dont got any stake in this final so idc who wins, just no point in instigating a problem with an entire region just cus someones winning or losing.

That and i mention fnc fanbase because they are most of the emea baiters or toxic fans

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe, wont know until its over

posted about 2 years ago

Regardless alot of regular users went along with it. Baiters be baiters doesnt matter what region but yall also take it like babysasuke speaks for all of us. Goes both ways.

Claiming anyone is superior to another is an autistic endless cycle argument that gets nowhere. Just enioy good valorant regardless of the team or region that simple.

posted about 2 years ago

Im not claiming victim ya retard, im just saying what i always have, regional superiority arguments are clown shitposting regardless of who, exhibition tournament who cares.

posted about 2 years ago

There was a whole like 10 threads at champs where some bozo was claiming european genetics were superior to the rest of the world.

Since when were you in with this crown ng1, i had respect for u awhile back

posted about 2 years ago

Fnc in form, 100t rough tourney, sen needed time to cook

posted about 2 years ago

Cus the fnc fanbase is the worst of the europeans, even in cs. Let them win their exhibition tourney and then claim "genetic superiority" like they did at champions.

Everyone loves to be toxic about region v region regardless, welcome to vlr bro

Been a fan of NRG since 2021, really liked their old rosters, seemed like a real underdog team in NA because they werent one of the top teams of 2021 or 2022 compared to optic xset guard c9. Enioyed their content from streamers and the org and was waiting for them to take the next step, really glad they made franchising and have the best roster theyve had yet.

Why risk ruining a core thats gotten consistent top placement just not a trophy, just experiment with adding foxy9

C9 L, Teams need to build around Yay

Derke, Aspas, Mwzera, Twisten, Buzz, Keznit, Zmjjkk

posted about 2 years ago

a 5-3-2 or a 6-2-2 split both were genuine possibilities when there were still rumors of G2 getting a slot, slots worked out fine tho

posted about 2 years ago

so when its the EMEA fanbase (mainly baiters) saying BR gets 0 its just them but when its the NA Baiters is the "more fans in general"

seems a lil hypocritical bro

every region deserves to be here and none are truly "superior" to any others and the game is far healthier that way

posted about 2 years ago

rare sheahhhh L.

LEVI rn is better than EG/SEN and its a toss up between 100T and C9 on paper but they did better in lock in than both of those.

posted about 2 years ago

Wouldnt argue that any were fat L's other than 100T getting blown out. Tier2 NA is still a good scene but if you're gonna pout about it then idk what to tell you bro. A few teams are likely to get into franchising depending on the ascension tourneys with LATAM/BR later this year so thats not out of the question to see a team like faze/sr/tgrd/tsm go that far.

posted about 2 years ago

100%, like as badly as I wanted NRG to win I'm okay with how far they got because they atleast got some of a showing to make top 8. Really impressed with alot of the teams across the board and I can't complain because most matches have been entertaining despite there being a few blowouts here n there.

posted about 2 years ago

oh i agree that its better this than a 2 month long + tournament, still sucks for the teams that didn't get to show much and as such (not that it matters) fans are gonna rlly underrate or overrate alot of teams with valorant being one of those any given day kind of games

posted about 2 years ago

lmao pros need to do this more often

not my boy Jamalesh "Hazed" Cobbanath the Indian professional VALORANT player for TSM who joined in December to step into the IGL role. He is well known for his fragging and flawless calling as well as his beard, which he hasn't shaved since converting to Hinduism

posted about 2 years ago

regardless, solely ranking teams off just lock ins exhibition tournament isnt gonna be fair as come time for the regional leagues it'll probably be different if some teams step up or fall off. Either way should atleast keep it consistent to results. But tier lists are always gonna be opinionated so

posted about 2 years ago

dogshit baiter thats all it is. classic EU v NA vlr moment

posted about 2 years ago

counter point 100T and C9B beat VIT at RBHG, same rosters. so either moving VIT to C or those 2 teams to B would be fair.

Altho C9B without Yay is C tier.

posted about 2 years ago

format sucks, exhibition tournament meant to show off every team but unfortunately 16 teams get only 2-3 maps to show themselves off ahead of their leagues. Either way its been an enjoyable tournament.

posted about 2 years ago

people really do take this shit way too seriously regardless of region, NA, EU, some APAC/BR but theyre usually better than the NA and EU fans

posted about 2 years ago

impossible

posted about 2 years ago

I'd say T1 and GE are about equal atm solely based on results we've seen in them vs Vitality and Furia, but both are better than DFM and RRQ

rrq, kru, dfm all worse

posted about 2 years ago

based off what we saw from both right now, FNC unless 100T returns to their champions form where they went 1-1 vs FNC

posted about 2 years ago

Due to format and just some teams having better days. New meta and most teams being new we saw favorites or on paper superteams like TL, SEN, C9, PRX, NRG (them vs loud was a banger but either of those teams if they lost were gonna be put in with this) all did underperform expectations. Give alot of these teams time and we will see in our regional leagues that they will be alot better with time.

People just need to stop over reacting to an exhibition tournament where we see a team like FUT go further than most of those.

posted about 2 years ago

100T yes but NRG and FNC had pretty much equal caliber of opponents (LOUD for NRG), NAVI has played a bottom feeder likely KRU

posted about 2 years ago

NAVI and FNC the only ones who could prob keep up with them lets be real, 100T also has proven to have kept up with FNC. We only seen EDG play old Lulquid but most of the EMEA teams at lock in have been mid.

posted about 2 years ago

this is facts

posted about 2 years ago

absolute banger, EDG played insane and honestly took 100T to the limit, should've won tbh
