They didn't perform well in groups, and went into playoffs as the 4th seed (lower bracket). Proceeded to choke a 10-2 lead against RRQ and bombed out. Unfortunately they weren't able to make it via points.
Supported them since 2022, but I have to say I stayed off the train because I am a jinx. Fked up my sleep cycle watching them play Masters Toronto, and watched in real time as they choked TL Split and Lotus, and FNC Pearl and Lotus. The moment I closed my stream they won the maps and lifted the trophy.
DRG vs SEN and DRG is going to win to break the SEN CN farmers win streak. Then sen will get qck the original CN farmer for next year as 6th man.
Not tier 1 but jemkin Reyna against crazyguy in Ascension, but now both of them are in the same team in tier 1 and making 2 consecutive internationals. What a crazy storyline

Jieni7 makes EDG looks good right now. And I think the double duelist meta might be it for CN, DRG and EDG are running it really well, so EDG might make another run

Ngl I was kinda hatewatching EDG when I saw some games where they played so bad but somehow managing to get into playoffs and champs...now kk is on Yoru and he doesn't look that good, but somehow jieni7 is making up for that by frying on movement duelist...

No PRX was third. I believe they were 4th after losing out to PRX (som cove incident)
As much as unlucky = barely missing out on trophies, for any other player this is considered a massive achievement, so many people wish to even have a podium finish, much less have so many chances to fight in regional and international grand finals, and even lifting one masters trophy.
Been playing him since the footsteps and no fake TP era. Yes please don't nerf him anymore (200 cred clone and 8 ult points is enough)

It's just that the team has too many 'rookies' who doesn't help with midrounding. It doesn't matter if you can shoot when opponents can shoot back and disrupt your plans. When I was watching the defense side for Sunset and Corrode it felt like they weren't adapting well enough and kept getting exploited.
I just want PRX to play both games in Tokyo (something surely will make up for the Masters Tokyo he missed in 2023)

I would argue Sova is better. For me ult is better because you can flush out people from corners. The drone and recon gets info, while the shock darts break trips, especially when people play at least one sentinel with trips on the map (except PRX). Fade seize and ult is good when you combo other utils, but this comp doesn't seem to provide that value.

As much as I feel GenG will perform better on intl stage they ain't beating the choking allegations and I am biased towards SEA teams even if they gonna be out in group stage (like last yr champs where 3 out of 4 Pacific teams bombed out)
If you sort by ACS PRX players are in the same order for both maps.
Even when he's fragging his utils are really up there too. So many important scans in so many games.
frost has credited most of the work to crws these days.
Some rounds just feel so off, like they really didn't expect Meteor to keep being in their face as a lurker - using utils while in an aggressive position - and sometimes they overthink and play too slow, then do some simple site hits (which T1 did in some rounds) and both teams hard counter those. Like at least try to switch things up and also stop doing this breach + solo Waylay duelist comps man it just ain't working...
Nah if curses are meant to be broken this year surely they go beyond 5-6th, maybe even beyond 3rd to get....
