Steels biggest weakness is his unwillingness to admit that Jett is a necessity in the current meta.

T1 should win.

The fact that they might lose is pretty damning for their chances of making the top 5 of NA.

He has said he won’t play for anything other than a t1 team.

Unfortunately he is a PR nightmare for t1 teams.

It’s kind of unfortunate for NA Valorant. He was a top 10 talent when all of this happened. He could have been an asset on a top 5 team.

Baby Js claim to fame was being good on breeze during qualifiers for a bad Faze team. The last game he played before Valorant he used a controller instead of keyboard and mouse.

With all of that being said, you would be nuts to think that this team is better “on paper”. However, both players have the potential to surprise and without the Nitro and Steel distractions that clouded the teams final push last year…. They might just look better without all that baggage hanging around.

How many times do we see teams look great in qualifying matches, and then they falter against elite teams.

Some of these teams might be back end T1 teams, but the only team in the whole tournament so far that might be considered top 5 in EMEA is the team that just won 3-0.
