Iirc Essentially pc bang owners in kr hated valve's policy and decided not to put their games there.

This is one of the reasons why dota in kr never took off too.

But as a result they pretty much built the foundation of korean valorant scene in my opinion.

Unless they commit a rare atom ...

posted 3 months ago

Overwatch pubg cs they have it all.
China has them too
Japan only has apex as the relevant scene and just a tiny bit of overwatch with Taiyo repping japan. Fortnite is in there too but it's quite new cmiiw, japan can't compare bro 😭

Nice try bud you're not fooling any of us ( im not saying in a disrespectful way)

Repping the flag for ascension 🔥

posted 3 months ago

Good point, I forgot to include that

posted 3 months ago

If the imports are botfragging then they are worse than useless.

posted 3 months ago

Ah no w I remembered how can I forget superbuss lol.
Thai vcl are genuinely held back by soop tbh.

Unfortunately I do think that indo watch party are lacking the ones that I remember is glhfson but he's not exactly that clouted cmiiw.

posted 3 months ago

Sadly it's only for grand finals, are there any notable watch parties in other VCLs?
I know Binks is one of them but the rest I'm not sure

posted 3 months ago

What is that ?😅

Remind me when China is part of the Pacific League... Anyways relying on Chinese League so Pacific League can sustain themselves is pathetic

posted 3 months ago

Don't jinx now, I need Riddle to at least achieve top 4

posted 3 months ago

What's racist about it? Stop yapping lol

posted 3 months ago

Not really
Fav won against everyone except Team secret on Apex league
Nth's LCQ run
You can call Scarz as one too , but y'all have problems with Japan importing and bending the rules and so do I so we can ignore that.
You might be right about Tier 1 but.But Tier 2 Japan is just different, there's not a lot of ocassions where Jp and SEA t2 will play against each other and I think it's safe to say that Japan still gets ahead.

posted 3 months ago

Anyways, replacing DFM with another org like Sengoku will do Riot pacific much better, I think people needs to know that Sengoku has their own Venue
https://challepa.jp/

posted 3 months ago

Welp that's ideally what's going to happen but, not everyone develops the same way.
Some know that RIddle core , absol, etc once come from academy teams. But no one will remember that G4ll once was part of Sengoku Academy, or Beomjun part of T1 academy....

I do hope the academy teams work tho

posted 3 months ago

That's not how academy team works bro, I'll be extremely happy too if Japan managed to produce 20 Meiys

posted 3 months ago

You forgot CR, Riddle and Murash.... DFM got it because of their "legacy"

posted 3 months ago

That's why they have a scene of their own, whilst APAC has Japan as one of it's major pillars.

posted 3 months ago

Not to my knowledge, you have to ask those who know, but I'll just come out and say japan are projected to have 8 academy teams in T1 and T2 combined, it shows that they are willing to be a good partner to riot

posted 3 months ago

Still, they put much more than any regions in the world let's tell riot to cut relations with a region willing to burn money just in valorant when most regions prefers to spend their money somewhere else 😄

posted 3 months ago

Viewerships, sponsorships , investments by tier 2 orgs into academy teams.... The region is growing regardless of the pace and people just fail to see it or refuse to admit it.

posted 3 months ago

Sure, let's drive down the viewerships and bring down the scene even more

posted 3 months ago

I'll let arin say whatever he wants and frankly it's not really my business whether he's talking some sense or just yapping, but what you said is just factually wrong and are just doomposting

posted 3 months ago

Bleed won last year so they get a bye

posted 3 months ago

Apparently that's the only " fairest " way to do a double elims.

Fans asked for it lol

posted 3 months ago

Ok mb I'm dyslexic 🤦‍♂️

posted 3 months ago

Which team is better? Who are more favoured here?

posted 3 months ago

Net won once and choke once
He didn't choke twice

posted 3 months ago

Net won the first one tho

posted 3 months ago

Ethnicity wise yes, but they don't count as imports because they are American ( tex and jawg) and Canadian ( nismo) by nationality.
Johnqt is Moroccan tho so he's the only one that counts.

Me when I lie

posted 3 months ago

Who is the owner?

posted 3 months ago

True, it's just at if we are looking at face value, jft and scarz should've been disqualified lol

posted 3 months ago

Liquipedia aren't that different tbh, they do list both countries or 3 if you are yotaa, but sometimes in liquidpedia you have cases like yoshii or the whole jft not being listed in game as japanese or australian

https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCL/2024/Japan/Split_2
(Scarz yoshii)

https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCL/2024/Ascension/Pacific
( jft)

posted 3 months ago

I see thx for the info

posted 3 months ago

Nismo played his first match and are basically from NA no?

posted 3 months ago

Hot take: I kinda don't like this repping ethnicity phenomenon tbh.

I legit have no clue whether jawgemo is Canadian or American because of this lol.

posted 3 months ago

It's one of the sad views that are commonly held across developing countries+ few developed ones.

posted 3 months ago

Wrong flag buddy, bait better next time

posted 3 months ago

I'm providing an example if we follow your logic, what's hypocritical about it?

posted 3 months ago

You make fun of the PLAYERS and NOT one of the member's girlfriend.

It's like I'm talking shit abt your dad even though you're the one who lost the game

posted 3 months ago

Sounds like a massive hassle tbh.

posted 3 months ago

Idk lol, as long ad the cost ain't that high I'm sure it's more viable that way

posted 3 months ago

This, and you can't separate the league too.

posted 3 months ago

Huh, isn't he Taiwanese-Canadian?

posted 3 months ago

Update:
It seems like BC SWELL are also looking to form an academy roster too.
