Uodate: Gangpin has sign a contract. I'm smelling some recycling here πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

What's worse is they have Satoshi in academy team all this time and proceeded to never use him, look who's qualifying to the main stage now πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

I've said this before pegging "2 imports" rule as a standard for every tier 2 is a mistake, because it offers short term success rather than the long term.

It should've been adjustable.

But I understand why riot is afraid to do that.

posted 3 months ago

Scarz was too impatient with the roster, they've kicked out tixx and lumo for adrnking and ejay and look at the results πŸ˜‚.

Also if they keep abusing the loophole eventually Kohei or someone at riot jp will keep scarz in check ( I hope so)

Unfortunately putting b1sk on perma chamber hurts the team more, which makes it riskier to get him( unless his willing to learn sentinel role),

Vookashu never had to comm in Chinese because the whole team will be comming with him in English (it's not just drg) ,but that's a fair point.

posted 3 months ago

Lol I'm not really an expert, I just spent way too much hours looking at vlr stats Twitter clips and valtrackerπŸ˜‚

Tbf if b1sk joined in 2021 it could've worked, but sadly now it's 2024 πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

Not really , reject is grinding in premier rn, the only team that's pulling out is varrel and they have been rumored to do so for quite some time now. Other than that there's not really anyone leaving.

Northeption still retains their coach , so you might see b1sk end up there. But with the current flow of local players it's dumb for nth to sign b1sk while ignoring the current talents. But then you have to understand that b1sk can't speak japanese and most jp player's English aren't sufficient for comms. So it's a risky move for nth, because if you signed b1sk, your priorities change from getting a good player to getting players that can speak english

T2 are broke as it is, ain't no way riot is willing to burn more money.

posted 3 months ago

Back to grinding in emea, it's not like everything's over for him, I still have faith in this guy.

posted 3 months ago

Even if carlao can speak japanese , they will still lose to dfm if his strats involve putting hiroronn on initiator anywaysπŸ˜‚.

posted 3 months ago

Idk how zainichis really think of themselves but anthem is a zainichi and he's representing japan as can be seen from his vlr and liquipedia page

posted 3 months ago

You know what it's not 24 , some teams actually go with 1 korean, some teams that are known to import ( blue bees) actually go full japanese and they're actually killing it, this is a good improvement from the previous split. Now I'm slightly happy again πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

I should be happy that more teams means more japanese players are getting the spotlight, but then I found out that some of the players that I've been looking at apparently are korean now I'm slightly disappointed πŸ˜‚.

posted 3 months ago

Idk abt premier tho, to me it sucked a lot for japan because orgs with better clout and Financials will get imports (there'snot even any guaranteethat they'll do good), thank God this is no longer the case.

So it's hard to see any breakout players, not to mention advance phase are oftentimes barely streamed which makes things worse for japanese players, do you know how many hours I've spent at twitter clips, vlr stats and valtracker just to look for some breakout players from Japan? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

Look I'm not sure whether things have improved for korean t2 or not , but korea cannot sustain themselves, legit the only thing that got them going (from my eyes) are the talent pool that they have.

Not to mention they pay lower wages compared to japan and now everyone moves to japan, it sucks for Japan's developing scene

If you don't want to be robbed then don't buy it???

posted 3 months ago

Move forward the next 10 years and ppl are pirating from indies...

You guys are setting a precedent which ultimately harms everyone involved, I mean you're pirating their product even though you know that the company is being a shitty employer is like youre against killing animals but would eat them. ( Idk if you're vegan or not but it's just an analogy)

posted 3 months ago

Stealing is stealing, shoplifting in Walmart is being looked down upon and I don't see why we should make this an exemption, it seems like this "piracy= morally right" thing is just for convenience sake.

A company being wrong in whatever shit that they do doesn't make you right.

I'm not even saying people can't do it anyways, I'm just saying people are deluding themselves into thinking they're some kind of vigilantes or something

posted 3 months ago

Last year's trailer clears unfortunately

posted 3 months ago

Is this how it feels to be 1/100 of nexusnomad 😭

posted 3 months ago

Because people cannot read, I never said people should stop pirating but somehow people think I said that.

Everytime I looked at someone's arts I always had to look at his/ her profile bios just to make sure he's not using AI tools. This shit annoys me a lot bro.

It(the thread) was meant to question the justifications of people who pirate stuffs, and 70% of users in this thread either can't read or purposefully ignoring my point, which is just say you're broke and don't need to go out of your way to justify why pirates are cool etc.

A lot of your counter arguments revolve around others are paying anyways, and ultimately it is the CEO and the hgher ups earn those money anyways, but that doesn't make it any less wrong..

But I agree that illegal shouldn't be considered as morally wrong, I never argued in terms of legal factor tho πŸ˜….

Btw have you ever considered that company might end up cutting employee's paychecks all the way just so it touches bare minimum required if they had to cut profit margin?

posted 3 months ago

You know what I think you're braindead too, one of your questions literally asked "what is wrong with stealing?"

Let's just consider this conversation never happened because my brain can't take your stupidity anymore,

posted 3 months ago

So that makes both you and your friend wrong?? What are you trying to say here. There's a reason devs or companies put a price tag on each "file" which is just a product. And you're taking them for free? If company know there's billions of people with this kind of mindset no one except few incredibly passionate + have the means to do it, will create games, because according to your argument all it takes is for one guy to buy the game and it's essentially free for everyone else because now he can share the file for free.

Are you trying to argue for the sake of arguing?

posted 3 months ago

Meaning that you can download it through somewhere else through the internet without having to travel physical miles just so you can copy them, do you even understand what you're saying here?

Btw don't mind the flag I'm just repping the flag till ascension ends

posted 3 months ago

when i pirate a file, you still have just as many files as you had before.

.

i'm not even going to your PC and taking a copy that you have to CTRL+C CTRL+V to replace,

posted 3 months ago

So you think that just because it is easy to copy, and companies having basically unlimited stocks, means you can steal it? That's Flawed logic buddy

posted 3 months ago

Look, I'm not forbidding pirating etc, and too expensive is a legitimate reason to pirate. But my point here is specifically towards those who have other justifications such as companies are evil , free marketing yadda yadda.

posted 3 months ago

I don't get this insistence on who's harmed or not, do we actually have to harm someone just so something to be wrong?
I also don't get the point of your 1st question.

Pirating is specifically wrong because it is just stealing.

I have to say it's company and ultimately it's employees who be harmed.

What's specifically is wrong about
Point A
When you pirate something it will snowball vs when you simply don't buy the product. If you pirate something others will think that they should too instead of wasting money.

Point B
But that's not the case with simply not buying, with not buying you basically said you're broke and the product doesn't suit you and move on. It is easy to move from point B to point A but as long as you don't, no one is harmed.

posted 3 months ago

Oops you got me there, fair point.
Because at the end of the day pirating is downloading stuffs without paying, that's stealing and it's wrong.Just because it is abstract or in this case digital doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'm not saying I didn't do it, I did a lot too. But I'm not gonna go out of my way saying pirating is free marketing etc, that's bollocks , just say you don't have money or the media/console is no longer available lol.

posted 3 months ago

My stance on piracy has been neutral, my problem is the mental gymnastics these people will go in order to justify doing so.

Istg is my wording too hard to understand πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ? Do I need to make a tldr just for a 2 paragraph text?

posted 3 months ago

50% jinx and the rest is prefiring my expectations so I don't get super disappointed later on πŸ’€πŸ’€

posted 3 months ago

Me too, I'm always amazed by what snes and nes games can do, ik we shouldn't judge them by current standards, 1 or 2 mb games that have tens of hours of content is crazy.

posted 3 months ago

That's a good idea actually, never thought about that, thanks πŸ‘

posted 3 months ago

πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I feel you bro, it sucks.

Ah yes, no wonder I remembered, that's the first time i actually interacted using japanese ( sloppily πŸ˜‚)

posted 3 months ago

Did your account get banned? Cause I definitely remembered talking to you before πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

Ok this is a legit and valid take. It's sad to see old games disappear , and I thank piracy for preventing that from happening.

posted 3 months ago

And they can add more viewers if they just focus on esports because when people think about League or csgo they think about faker and simple. At that point you should just focus on esports and retire later. I'm sure brands or sponsors would love that even more.

For them it's more beneficial to continue while for others it's not.

posted 3 months ago

Read again, at what point did I say people should stop pirating

posted 3 months ago

Talking as if faker doesn't own a building in south korea πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Faker's branding ultimately comes from esports and not content, esports is ultimately where his money comes from bro. Not many have the means to do that.

posted 3 months ago

No doubt about it piracy has some benefits, and not just the gaming community, anime in the west to my knowledge won't be as mainstream as it is today without pirating..

posted 3 months ago

You do you bro, I'm gonna go back and download the rom for ff5 on snes simulator πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

posted 3 months ago

I mean I pirate stuff too, but I'm not gonna delude myself into thinking that I'm some Robin hood πŸ˜‚
