It was true when the game came out first. Not so much now. It is backed by the fact that earliest winning teams in valorant were almost all filled with CS pros. Valorant is also thriving in NA meanwhile their CS scene is almost dead. Almost every wannabe CS pro has shifted and done better internationally in val.

He is a major winner, what you talking about?

I mean part of it IS true. Given how val has treated it's star players like Yay, Deamon1, Pancada, etc, CSGO star players are much more stable. That's because of no. franchise system and number of TOs. They have oil money and gambling money keeping the game alive. IDK how sustainable val pro scene really is. Sponsor restrictions, minimum salary, minimum contract lengths when the game publisher itself don't know how to plan the season.

CSGO. Tbh i like watching Esports more than playing. I started playing at 22 after I bought a PC from my own salary. Switched to valorant after clocking around 3000hrs and reaching LE. I hover around D1-D2, although I don't play much. I have like 700 hrs and I have been playing since ep1 act 1. Not to mention, I'm 30 now, with slow ass reflexes.

The format was absolute W in my book. The qualification for masters was absolute terrible. Why did they divide the teams in two asymmetrical groups? It was absurd.

posted 10 months ago

Sen has 9 points, LEV has 6. SEN will qualify based on points alone if they don't completely sabotage stage 2

posted 10 months ago

DRX will most probably qualify based on points itself, if not thru standings in stage 2

fnc is not as dominant as they were. Just look how many comeback they did. Against teams like PRX who are based on momentum, those comebacks will become a lot harder.

posted 10 months ago

They are not their normal selves.

posted 10 months ago

With the amount of 9-3 comebacks FNC had to do to qualify for this tourney, I don't see them coming back against PRX with 2 map advantage. The only way FNC wins this is if they remain undefeated or don't get PRX in the final.

Who knows what scrim combos have they played. Miniboo's exams must have been known to them. I feel Rein's visa issue during the kickoff was more of an impromptu situation for them.

posted 10 months ago

True but Heretics has barely played with their 5 main players. More than 50% of their matches this season has been with a stand-in. It's so frustrating to watch.

posted 10 months ago

They have had more roster issues than any other team ATP.

posted 10 months ago

DRG was way too easy of a matchup, Heretics didn't show anything. Don't forget, Heretics' main dualist is absent.

The sole reason reyna is used by smurfs is her heal ability. Reduce it to <100 health and no armour and it won't be picked in ranked. Make her flash somehow harder to shoot so she can be entry flash and reyna should be pretty much fixed.

Cypher - 269 matches BTW and playing since A1E1.

Except for the fact that the only good bangladeshi player is grinding NA servers (sssami).

As you can see, it's a clown fest. You will find more viewers on Tarik's stream even if he streams at 2am for Indian audience.

posted 10 months ago

I mean they were the winners last year from SA and were pretty much undefeated in SA. They were in the middle of transition and contract renewal which costed them split 1.

posted 10 months ago

Their ascent was terrible against fluffy aimers. Bind is statistically their best map. Looks like they didn’t practice in the break they got. Honestly even TSM looks better than them.

posted 10 months ago

They did have a data scientist - analyst working remotely with him, mentioned by alecks himself. Don't know if he works for them anymore or not.

posted 10 months ago

Pinoy army winning this one for sure, right? Jessie uncle please don't disappoint me.

Wardell was a pro at one point. He should have never queued with a known stream sniper. I don't think his views dropped because he got called out by tarik.

posted 10 months ago

Yes, because when he played duelist, they lost 0-4. You need support and comms to entry. My guy was taking english classes. He is different with a korean team.

posted 10 months ago

Maybe. I still think he is playing much better because of Korean players around him. He was learning english when he joined GE last year.

posted 10 months ago

I mean he did play dualists in 5 out of 11 matches GE played.

iphone X because I love the size (smaller than normal iphone, bigger than iphone mini series) and rounded edges.

posted 10 months ago

Less getting benched is actually a surprise. Isn't Loud the org with most clout and money in SA?

posted 10 months ago

Honestly we need to find the madafaka the coach who is aim training boaster. It's daylight robbery straight up.

posted 10 months ago

None of the players. It's the teams that are going to struggle. We will witness a shift in meta on bind, split, probably icebox and breeze. Pearl when that map comes back.

Get Potter from EG.

posted 10 months ago

Definitely overcooked

posted 10 months ago

I agree with autopilot thing. They are either not comming at all or comming too much and not playing to their fullest. I still feel individually, they are all among the best in NA.

posted 10 months ago

VAL 5 means someone has logged on somewhere else. I would rather get a support ticket instead of waiting for someone to ban my ID while I tweet.

posted 10 months ago

Won't have any if NA frauds keep coming in

posted 10 months ago

NA sending some real bots in the APAC region, firstly y0y and now g0vern0r?

posted 10 months ago

You can always use your Indian twitch account to gift 500 subs to shanks, will only cost you 133$. :)

posted 10 months ago

Not really, since each match gives you a point for champs. Drx also will fight for 1st seed in playoffs.

posted 10 months ago

Nahh. That roster had comm issues. Texture was never comfortable with english speaking roster. Monyet was already doing good on omen. LF introduction would have lead to role issues. They actually needed a good initiator in that team. Maybe Russ would have made them much better.

Getting paid to lose is crazy. They haven't won after the open qualifiers, lol.

posted 11 months ago

Nation wants to know, is Carnival gaming paid?

posted 11 months ago

Sorry, had to finally jinx them this hard to get them to win. Talon loss will still sting tho. No gaddari This was in my collecting since the 2nd match.

posted 11 months ago

Nahhh, It's 2-0 for RRQ. People who are saying it will be close are braindead.

posted 11 months ago

Bazzi wasn't+ve last whole season btw

posted 11 months ago

Talon is on a resurgence lately. This is going to be close and probably a heart breaker for GE fans.

posted 11 months ago

Honestly, I would love watch these bottom of the barrel teams compete. The ones who get eliminated early wins.
