Salary increase was an issue. Global has not hesitated in bringing multi-lingual players. Texture having problems could be the reason why they didn't extend his contract. Monyet was signed for the longest duration (2025). I think it was good for both parties that texture left. Him being able to play in a language he is comfortable in, and GE not spending 2x the amount, facing similar comm issues and texture wasting another year, he is 24 and basically in his prime.

I honestly think Indian T2 teams have had better coaches, let alone Onur. Ewok was coaching a T2 Indian team. Even Abhishek Bajaj, VLT's current coach and ex Bleed (sub) and ex Bonkers coach has better scouting and results.

They are hoping for valorant mobile to be a success, just like pubg, is what I can guess. TBH valorant has been a bit successful in swaying all the viewership from CS towards itself and a sizable chunk from Pubg when got banned. Unfortunately India has a "special" version of pubg and the watching and money is huge. Even if they manage to get 25% of that game's success, it will be huge for them.

I mean someone has to be at the bottom. DFM has consistently managed to do that two seasons in a row. Funnily enough, DFM's coach last year is the assistant coach for GenG and they are frying every team. I won't be surprised to see Blazeking and Polvi playing in masters next year, and spin being a sub/analyst for a winning team. Some orgs just aren't meant for greatness.

posted 5 months ago

The spot is better off with an OCE team. Problem is, there is no org rich enough (or interested to invest in valorant). I would just like GE to pick some talent from OCE as the core and proceed from there.

posted 5 months ago

They have prettymuch solidified their position in playoffs.

Russ has his home back in goa, india. Although his passport is British and India doesn't allow dual citizenship. He is considered to be not an import.

posted 5 months ago

Wait to you see polvi and blazeking in the masters. Probably Spin too just like Geng's coach.

posted 5 months ago

Wait till the season is over, GE nukes the team and watch polvi and blazeking go to masters next year, probably benkai too.

Lets go GENG!!!!!!!! League, MSI, Masters <3

He played dualist in 1st 4 matches. They lost all 4 of them. He had issues with comms and there's no other way to look at it. He also played dualist in LCQ matches. If you speak map wise, he and skrossi played dualist on equal number of maps last year.

posted 5 months ago

Monyet has left the team to join RRQ already

PRX needs to fix their eagerness to trade if they are playing harbor. All their maps with this agent are cooked. That 15th round was a disaster.

If you are from a working-class family (you don't have a family business), you have no other option. Maybe talk to a career advisor. Knowing what you want to become gives you purpose and helps a lot with motivation. There are many careers which don't require you to excel at subjects you don't enjoy.

posted 5 months ago

3 out of 4, 1st seed teams got cooked against 2nd seeds coming in hot from groups.

posted 5 months ago

PRX is professional pickem f**ker

posted 5 months ago

He was just a CC, does it really matter?

posted 5 months ago

Good with util? He stopped playing the game for months and was struggling in Ascendent. L org, no talent scouting and picking up a washed player only expecting Azys to carry them to Ascension and then get eliminated 0-4.

posted 5 months ago

With the amount of cooking loud does with their dualist, PRX Forsaken seems to be the only fit.

posted 5 months ago

I will buy the prx jersey if they win and cheer for them at champs.

posted 5 months ago

OCE has so much talent which is getting wasted. I will mald if I don't see minimise and rdeew finishin top 2 or winning ascension this year. They are signed by an org right?

posted 5 months ago

I don't think their imports are impressive. Thailand have a good talent pool. GarnetS was a good dualist. They needed a good IGL sentinal.

posted 5 months ago

It was true when the game came out first. Not so much now. It is backed by the fact that earliest winning teams in valorant were almost all filled with CS pros. Valorant is also thriving in NA meanwhile their CS scene is almost dead. Almost every wannabe CS pro has shifted and done better internationally in val.

posted 5 months ago

He is a major winner, what you talking about?

posted 5 months ago

I mean part of it IS true. Given how val has treated it's star players like Yay, Deamon1, Pancada, etc, CSGO star players are much more stable. That's because of no. franchise system and number of TOs. They have oil money and gambling money keeping the game alive. IDK how sustainable val pro scene really is. Sponsor restrictions, minimum salary, minimum contract lengths when the game publisher itself don't know how to plan the season.

CSGO. Tbh i like watching Esports more than playing. I started playing at 22 after I bought a PC from my own salary. Switched to valorant after clocking around 3000hrs and reaching LE. I hover around D1-D2, although I don't play much. I have like 700 hrs and I have been playing since ep1 act 1. Not to mention, I'm 30 now, with slow ass reflexes.

The format was absolute W in my book. The qualification for masters was absolute terrible. Why did they divide the teams in two asymmetrical groups? It was absurd.

posted 5 months ago

Sen has 9 points, LEV has 6. SEN will qualify based on points alone if they don't completely sabotage stage 2

posted 5 months ago

DRX will most probably qualify based on points itself, if not thru standings in stage 2

posted 5 months ago

fnc is not as dominant as they were. Just look how many comeback they did. Against teams like PRX who are based on momentum, those comebacks will become a lot harder.

posted 5 months ago

They are not their normal selves.

posted 5 months ago

With the amount of 9-3 comebacks FNC had to do to qualify for this tourney, I don't see them coming back against PRX with 2 map advantage. The only way FNC wins this is if they remain undefeated or don't get PRX in the final.

posted 5 months ago

Who knows what scrim combos have they played. Miniboo's exams must have been known to them. I feel Rein's visa issue during the kickoff was more of an impromptu situation for them.

posted 5 months ago

True but Heretics has barely played with their 5 main players. More than 50% of their matches this season has been with a stand-in. It's so frustrating to watch.

posted 5 months ago

They have had more roster issues than any other team ATP.

posted 5 months ago

DRG was way too easy of a matchup, Heretics didn't show anything. Don't forget, Heretics' main dualist is absent.

The sole reason reyna is used by smurfs is her heal ability. Reduce it to <100 health and no armour and it won't be picked in ranked. Make her flash somehow harder to shoot so she can be entry flash and reyna should be pretty much fixed.

posted 5 months ago

Cypher - 269 matches BTW and playing since A1E1.

posted 6 months ago

Except for the fact that the only good bangladeshi player is grinding NA servers (sssami).

posted 6 months ago

As you can see, it's a clown fest. You will find more viewers on Tarik's stream even if he streams at 2am for Indian audience.

posted 6 months ago

I mean they were the winners last year from SA and were pretty much undefeated in SA. They were in the middle of transition and contract renewal which costed them split 1.

posted 6 months ago

Their ascent was terrible against fluffy aimers. Bind is statistically their best map. Looks like they didn’t practice in the break they got. Honestly even TSM looks better than them.

posted 6 months ago

They did have a data scientist - analyst working remotely with him, mentioned by alecks himself. Don't know if he works for them anymore or not.

posted 6 months ago

Pinoy army winning this one for sure, right? Jessie uncle please don't disappoint me.

Wardell was a pro at one point. He should have never queued with a known stream sniper. I don't think his views dropped because he got called out by tarik.

posted 6 months ago

Yes, because when he played duelist, they lost 0-4. You need support and comms to entry. My guy was taking english classes. He is different with a korean team.

posted 6 months ago

Maybe. I still think he is playing much better because of Korean players around him. He was learning english when he joined GE last year.

posted 6 months ago

I mean he did play dualists in 5 out of 11 matches GE played.
