well if 100T loses to LOUD then SEN will have 14 points if they win the rest of their games and 100T with 13, then in playoffs if sen bombs out they get 0 and if 100T wins one they will have 14, if they win the next they already qual so points don't matter and its given to the next team with the most points and if they don't SEN gets the spot because of h2h.

If SEN wins the next games they will basically automatically qual to champs due to points since 100T is likely to lose to LOUD, they could completely bomb out of playoffs and still make it even if 100T get one win in playoffs too (pretty sure because of h2h).

wouldn't players on ascension teams want to leave the team and join partnered ones so they can actually maintain a long career instead of having the risk of losing your tier 1 spot after a year? the new rule is a W but also just seems like they want to force out players who won ascension onto other teams, like if M8 don't make champs the players would have had a better shot at a good career if they just swapped to a partnered team.

CGRS is the only sub who made a major run in an international tourney since he was signed on the team before someone (something in this case) couldn't make it.
