damn, I never really used the valorantcompetitive subreddit so I didn't know it was that bad. Though, I can't say I'm surprised, reddit mods in general are constantly on some power trips and subreddits tend to be people in an Eco chamber behaving like a hivemind

yeah that sounds better

posted 2 months ago

dont get me wrong nAts has been great at some points in the past and right now, but I just know he isn't because saying "nAts" and "greatest player ever" in the same sentence feels kinda underwhelming. The best candidate was aspas but that ain't going well, I don't think valorant has a clear Goat yet. It's not like League where you can say Faker is the best ever and it just clicks. I might be wrong but that's just me

stab him (for legal reasons this is a joke)

You want to read about VCT Valorant and engage in the conversation. What is the best place?

A) VCT Twitter
B) VCT Reddit
C) VLR

Which is best, worst and why?

posted 2 months ago

how would someone diss :3? you can't even add 0s to their name of anything. It's the troll proof name

posted 2 months ago

damn

posted 2 months ago

it all comes around ig, last year it was aspas' mom dissing tex, and now it's artzin's dad dissing him. Also, what did artizin's dad say?

posted 2 months ago

When did artzin's dad diss aspas lmfao??

posted 2 months ago

Ngl the MIBR vs TH beef war ended fast. Who was it that called aspas overrated in TH anyway? Was it Miniboo?

posted 2 months ago

i doubt he would retire just like that, my guess is he will go play in APAC

posted 2 months ago

im just downloading it on gamepass, hope performance is decent

posted 2 months ago

I mean, like you said, he is out of form and his contract with MIBR finishes this year. If a team in APAC isn't willing to keep paying him a lot idk why other teams in Americas would. Better to have a lower salary in APAC, a region he wants to be in, than to have a lower salary in Americas or not getting picked up at all if he asks for a lot.

posted 2 months ago

surely there has to be a team to pick him up, maybe they won't pay him a lot for being out of form but he is still a historically good player that has lots of fans. Even yay got an offer after he flopped in Tier 2, I don't see why aspas wouldn't after 1 rough season in Tier 1.

posted 2 months ago

even if they fix it, I doubt aspas would stay. afaik he has been wanting to live in APAC for a while

posted 2 months ago

who did Verno punch now

posted 2 months ago

could be, cuz even if they struggle with new meta this team is looking wayy worse than at the beginning of the season

posted 2 months ago

a bit more, but even if he didn't make the team himself I wonder what is making him so demotivated. Most players don't get to choose their team either and look happy

posted 2 months ago

bro trust me when I say that next year he is gonna be playing in APAC living his anime fan dream. Apparently he has been wanting to play there for a while now

posted 2 months ago

interesting

posted 2 months ago

lmk what he says

posted 2 months ago

Can someone that follows MIBR more tell me why he looks so down or like he just doesn't wanna play? Last we saw him totally happy was in LOUD, which changed after they won champions and wanted to leave after extra season, he then also was apparently unhappy at LEV and wanted to leave, and now at MIBR he looks like he is there because he has to. Is it burnout? was there internal issues? He literally made the team himself with players he supposedly liked. I need someone to help me understand cuz it's just so weird

posted 2 months ago

then why is he teamless? good players (especially if they have experience in Tier 1) get picked up quickly no? I'm just putting 1 + 1 together. I don't see any other reason unless he is asking for lots of money which I doubt, even a lower salary is better than no salary

posted 2 months ago

Many americans are prob only familiar with the Mexican peso since we are neighbours but many South American countries also call their currency "peso" so i just clarify lol. I think even the Philippines calls their currency "peso"

posted 2 months ago

then who tf is mad enough to send threats over furia bro cuz as far as I know, Brazilians hate furia too. Is it the owner sending him bots or sum lmfao

posted 2 months ago

right, it's not just the 13-0 thing, several times have gotten 13-0d at some point. Thing is those teams have at least been decent at some point. Last I recall furia being decent was like early 2023 for a month or two

posted 2 months ago

the iceman melted ngl, plus i dont think the "not trying" allegations are helping him

yall cant be this mad bro, he speaking facts

posted 2 months ago

rough series for him but what surprises me is the fact that they gave the IGL to a player that supposedly got kicked for "lack of communication" unless he did a total 180, and is a changed man since joining MIBR, I don't get this decision.

posted 2 months ago

im gonna unplug his pc midround

posted 2 months ago

one step at a time bro, we are no longer the worst team after Furia. Let's chill

posted 2 months ago

Back to being the best Brazilian team

posted 2 months ago

LFGGGGGGGGGGG WE BEAT A TEAM NOT CALLED FURIA

posted 2 months ago

Such a beautiful country man, good music, good food, and most of all, a good heart.

They give us one of aspas' best years individually and take him back just when he starts underperforming and to replace him they give us Satori Sato and 2 cracked kids for our Academy. As if that wasn't enough, they give us the only teams we have beat in VCT this year, MIBR and FURIA 💚💙🕺

One of my fav countries for sure

posted 2 months ago

the buyout is $1 mexican peso

posted 2 months ago

tbf MIBR are playing like zimbabwe Tier 4 team bro. Why even give the IGL to verno

posted 2 months ago

thankfully we won anyways, but had this been closer map i'd be mad asf

posted 2 months ago

we had 8 rounds before the tech pause and after we had 7

posted 2 months ago

they took the round from us no way

posted 2 months ago

FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK THEY SHOULD'VE SIGNED DEMON1

posted 2 months ago

he played it well but aspas baited artzin like crazy, he just had to trade him wtf

posted 2 months ago

true as well, kinda worked for him. He was the best from mibr this map

posted 2 months ago

I get the feeling that whenever the team is not performing great he gets frustated and tries to go constantly for hero plays to carry the team, but that can end up in him being in untradeable positions. Happened to him with LEV too at some point last year. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't, specially against organized teams that can trade

You are right

Losing is giving up. Losing is not fighting back.
Losing is dropping your Vandal before the last round.
They got to 13 rounds faster, so what?
The scoreboard doesn’t show how hard LEV fought, how much we tried.
The scoreboard doesn’t show how many times we got up, how many times we screamed inside and no one heard.
Not getting to 13 rounds is not the same as losing.
Losing is not trying.
And we tried.
Again and again.
Until the round, until the last map.

bro im just worried cuz we lost to LOUD who got swept by NRG yesterday, we might be cooked but we'll see how we do against MIBR cuz they lost to KRU and KRU got swept by 100T too so.

posted 2 months ago

so?

nothing lol, I'm not defending it. I'm just saying he is public now cuz you made it sound like he hasn't gone public since then. I just wanted to add to the info and add dates, no need to get defensive. The reason I added quotation marks on the cancelation thing is becasue he got "cancelled" and like you said, went private then public again and everyone just kinda forgot about it or doesn't mention it. I didn't follow our Academy as much back then to give all the deeds and details on what happened, I'm just adding context from what I saw on the surface. Also what did okeanos do? I don't have any info on that

posted 2 months ago

In my humble opinion. Ghoul is the better aimer and rifler, but Neon better at everything else (movement, awareness, decision making, OP)

posted 2 months ago

I get what ur going for with Lev but man, not keeping Ghoul and/or Sato feels so baddddddd, they are both really good. I'd rather get one of them instead of Mazino and just let kingg be the flex

posted 2 months ago

the entire reason I haven't watched it despite everyone saying it's amazing except from the ending. Idk, feels kinda bad to chug through an entire series to be met with dissapointment in the end
