at first SA only got 1 slot in APAC LCQ last year that was the first time SA region was given chance to play VCT and Global Esports quilified from SA, and their performance in LCQ was more then what everyone expected they beat 2nd best Korean team and almost beat F4Q, so SA's slots were increased to 2.

They had 2 slots in stage 1 too
