Saadhak about Optic trashtalk'

Question at press conference: Optic started some teasing on stage. I wanted to know if you guys teased him back, because we didn't see anything on the broadcast.

Saadhak:
It's kind of childish of us to insult the other team. We prefer to play our game and be reserved, because we are a professional team, right? We don't waste our energy cursing the other team, that's for sure.

Yes, it appears to be a clean answer. But I don't think Optic is wrong to insult (trashtalk) during the game, this is something that is already introduced in the professional FPS, it's something cultural. He's not wrong, but neither is Optic.
What really matters is if you as a professional are a trashtalker outside the game, considering that you need to have the notion that work is different from personal life.

nah trash talk (friendly, not plain out rudeness) makes the game, fun. If you're a pussy and can't handle it, then sucks for you imo. A huge part of the game is mental, and a way to get the mental advantage is trash talking.

Plus it makes it more fun for the audience

He and his team handled it just fine, they won. He isn't saying that X or Y shouldn't trash talk, he's saying that he finds it childish and that his team prefers not to do it.

Professionals in other sports (soccer, football, basketball, etc.) do it. You think it's immature because you see them as kids, but the fact of the matter is, they're trying to gain an edge on the opponent through mind games. The reality is, annoying your opponent in game/making them feel bad can cause them to make a mistake.

I'm the type of person to ignore it and just play my game, but if you're at that level, you have to understand why it's done. What's childish is not understanding this and calling them kids.

i don't care about these kind of things honestly.
In brazil is pretty common this kinda of trashtalk on lan.
But if loud's players think it's childish that's ok too..it's just them not doing it. And i don't see saadhak attack them by saying it..as i said them as team don't see it as a good thing to do.

Some greats like Larry Bird & MJ were the best trash talker, hence normal in high competitive scenario
