Based
common knowledge ngl. g2 liquid and fnatic are finished for stage 2, get ready for new acend gambit and fpx to dominate
TL is still a great team. But they just changed their igl, their map pool is really small and they should improve their comps. Once they fix problems they are definitely a top 3 team in emea.
they very good but if they dont get an igl its impossible for them to be consistently a top3 team, they need players who are leaders and are smart, only jamppi and nivera are very smart players imo, the other 3 you can tell they lack in gamesense even if they have great aim, my dream Liquid roster would be:
Jamppi (Initiator)
Nivera (would like to see if he is good on duelist but probably would struggle on jett because of low sens so keep him on sentinel)
H1ber/Fitinho/Twisten/purp0 (basically any upcoming duelist who can play both jett/raze to a high level)
baddyg/l1nk (controller)
IGL (no idea who honestly its hard to tell who is good igl/would fit in the team from the outside)
or
Jamppi (initiator)
Nivera (sentinel)
H1ber/fitinho/twisten/purp0 (duelist)
IGL (controller)
strong flex player, musashi maybe? or keep scream
They can keep sliggy if they think he is good, also doubt nivera would be happy with kicking scream so the second one seems more likely, their main problem imo is not having a competent duelist who can play both raze/jett and can op + no igl obviously, only player they 100% need to kick is soulcas and then its between l1nk/scream possibly
I feel like l1nk gets disrespected too much, he's inconsistent but you won't find a better smoke player available in emea rn.
And i don't think scream is the problem, he's very consistent and his stats were really good this tournament. His only problem is not being able to op, but just move nivera from kj to chamber and that can be fixed ( their haven looked dominant with scream on Jett and nivera on chamber). The only player I'd consider kicking is soulcas
I mean any out of Gambit, FPX, Acend, G2, Liquid, Fnatic, Guild could dominate coming into stage 2. All have a lot of potential.
But you are not taking into account that Gambit, FPX, Acend and maybe Guild have had a lot of time to prepare, being in an international event is a loss in terms of improving as a team + G2 with this lineup isnt that good same for Liquid who have no IGL and Fnatic who have boaster aka the wall licker
True, what I'm saying is that all the teams I mentioned have quality and potential to make it to next LAN event. All of them are good enough and its just comes down to who is better when it matters.
They are finished because of Boaster, the players are good tho, I just dont rate boaster as a player and specially as an IGL
for real tho, i feel like valorant pros and community respect gambit/M3C so much even if they lost match, that tells a lot
I feel like they were overburned from playing a match multiple times for multiple days in a row. Plus that glorious Fnatic match...
It's a shame, I almost never would look for excuses when it comes to teams' performance, but I'm convinced it was a fluke that they didn't qualify for Masters.
I think they're definitely the clear favorites unless you weigh recent results incredibly high.
2nd at Champs, 1st at Berlin. Just missed qualification to Masters 1 2022 with only one "bad" match so far this year.
They got fked by schedule caused by war. Literally had to play back to back matches without any time to vod review and counter and not to mention deffo had some back pain issue.
