Sentinels and Paper Rex have similar playstyles in the way where it's calculated fast-paced chaos. But what makes them different Is TenZ is held back from being more aggressive. Benkai said in an interview that He doesn't hold f0rsaken and Jinggg on a leash, he let's them make plays whenever they feel like it. On the other hand, Shaz prefers TenZ to be more controlled.

Also, I believe Sentinels could've been more if they didn't copy the Meta and stuck with double duelist. They could've been what Paper Rex is now. Paper Rex has their own playstyle and they're not trying to be like everyone else.

Thank you for this explanation! What I’m getting is that PRX mastered their own style through constant practice in comparison to sentinels who had less time to practice with the new meta.

I personally think most of SENS issues come from things outside of the server, but maybe sticking with double duelists probably would've been better than what they are now. I think what PRX is doing right is, as you said, playing the game how they want to and doing what works for them. Agent comps really let teams in Val develop their own style and tactics, there probably is some value in learning what works for you and sticking with it instead of trying to keep up with a meta that changes every month

without the agent pool in mind, I feel like SicK would be the closest to JInggg.

you forgot that sentinels dont have THE LEGENDARY BENKAI

I disagree that they play similar playstyles but I do agree that they shouldnt treat the meta like a gospel in a bible where they have to have the exact playstyle. They should try more wild playstyles/set plays with their talented team.
