honestly how can i know that champions is a bigger championchip than masters? it's literally the same tournament with a different name, the only thing that makes champions more attractive would be the prize pool, but is this attractive to players and why would I think champions are bigger than masters?

Champs was the same size as masters 3 when gambit won, but for this masters its four slots smaller then champs

Champions has:
music theme (like Die For You)
more teams now (16 > 12)
only best teams across the season in multiples regions have a direct qualify
It has multiples last chance qualifiers across the world
has a bundle with skins (like Vandal + Karambit in 2021)
and more money in play

hope the first crowd is at masters 2 cuz don't want them to do something like that for the first time during the most important event of the year and just fuck up

In my opinion, the ideal is 16 teams on masters and 24 on champions and change the format, we need swiss format

this format on masters is really bad

i agree

and remake regions/distribution, i mean, some regions dont have a really oportunity to grow (OCE, MENA...)

If I'm not wrong OCE team plays in the APAC region and the MENA teams play In the EMEA region.

you're right, but thats exactly the problem

mena teams cant scrim properly with EU teams bc ping and OCE teams have same problem to train against SEA teams

i believe SA and OCE should have direct slots and mena be more include in EMEA

It's like comparing MSI with worlds.

But I hope next time they allow 24 teams in the champions and divide them into 3 stages just like it happens in the worlds(LOL). It would be Hella hype with a crowd.

And I also want them to find a proper format for masters and champions.

The biggest thing is the qualifications setup, for masters you qualify as seeds from recent challengers. Were as for champs the qualifications are based off circuit points which are accumulated from your performance in the entire VCT cycle.
