Or NIP underrated?
You're getting alot of unnecessary hate, but I'll break it down for you.
Fnatic only had 7 or 8 days to prep with these subs. The problem is that when you don't have your regular core, everyone plays differently and alot of previous preparation goes out the window.
It's not that the subs are bad players, they obviously know how to shoot. But it's the tactics and playstyle and tendancies that get affected.
Some people call this Copium, but they're deluded if they think Chemistry isn't important.
Honestly, that sucks, but let's not forget that V1 played with a stand-in and still did pretty well. NA made no excuses, and wound up beating TL and CR, losing to NUTURN and Fnatic.
On top of this, let's not forget that EMEA constantly talks about how they're worlds ahead of every region, and constantly call BR "Bronzil".
fnatic dont have their 2 best players and are a super gimmicky team, they cant play simple/fundamental valorant like teams like gambit, gambit can win a tournament without having nothing innovative in terms of utlity because their fundamentals are so good, fnatic cant, they just play boaster dogshit playstyle that only works early in tournaments when no1 knows their gimmicks, then they get destroyed like champions/emea playoffs
NiP is a good team but the way the played today it was just a ranked game and exploiting that fnatic didnt have protocols on point so they struggled to adapt/react to the aggression (also they couldnt win a fight for some reason), I wouldnt expect NiP to beat top teams in the tournament or Fnatic in lowers if they have Derke back
I agree, Brazil is really underrated in vlr, you guys were just unlucky af in champions but I think if Fnatic had both derke and brave it would have been a quick 2-0 and if they had only Derke it would have been a comfortable win for fnatic still, NiP did nothing amazing, just exploited the lack of chemistry playing aggressively which is smart but the real test in against proper teams that have their full lineup
