Honest thoughts about Iceland teams

1. G2 Looking hella good rn, imo they're the favourites to win it all, meddo and hoody were the right picks after all
2. Fnatic The game against gambit really left them exhausted plus brave won't be able to play so unless they get a really good sub, shit will be hard for them
3. Liquid Shouldn't have been at Iceland, gotta be honest, they look really bad rn, players are all individually very good, but aim is nothing if you don't have decent strats, hope they sort their shit out
4. The Guard I didn't expect them to make Iceland, but fuck was I wrong. Really good team, they have both individual skill and good strats, really hyped about them, they could give any team a run for their money
5. Optic New year same Optic, still one of the best NA teams, won against the favourites of the tournament and got 2nd against the odds of most of us. Yay is still consistent af and Victor is stepping up again, only problem is that FNS' mechanical skill isn't that good, but he's the igl and he does his job really well so no problems
6. DRX Yeah, I know I've been shitting on them quite often but it was to trigger some people. I don't think they are as bad as I said but still I don't think they'll perform more than they did last year. Will still be dominant against smaller teams but ultimately I see them still not making the cut against the big dogs. They finally got rid of lakia who was at this point more of a sub than a 6th man, and with zest's comeback they now have a more consistent duelist and a fragging out sentinel, so they may actually upset someone, but I still don't see them making it that far
7. Zeta Division I don't really have much to say about them, I don't follow the region that much, but they look so much better than what they did last year, JP finally has a good representative
8. LOUD Always tought that BR would eventually come with a superteam and it may have just happened, I think VK's loss at Champs was really unfortunate but hey, that's what you get for abusing bugs. LOUD could surprise us all but I still don't want to hype em up since only Sacy and saadhak proved themselves internationally
9. KRU Looking shaky ngl, Onur really made a difference. They still have the firepower and I don't think there should be any changes, I don't expect them to perform as well as they did in Champions, but I don't expect them to bomb out of group stages (if Leviathan loses) as well
10. PRX Jingg and forsaken hard carry them, they are a good team overall tho. They could make semis with the right matchups
11. XERXIA I expected them to be first seed in SEA so a bit disappointed about that, but still they put up a good performance, SEA is probably the most improved region as of now and this boys really showed it in Champions, Surf is a really good replacement for Patiphan and I hope they manage to make playoffs
12. NiP/Leviathan We still don't know who's gonna make it but both look good. NiP just got a better coach to sub for this game (or just got him idk lol) and Leviathan look really good with the addiction of Onur. NiP looks a bit more inconsistent but whoever will win this, has quite a good chance to impress us at masters imo
