why arent these big countries in iceland? there has got to be atleast 1 really good team from both countries
Korea was good but sadly they too would get destroyed by the chinese. Have you ever seen a korean team at the major? The answer is no. The korean team only made it 1 international event while chinese teams always dominated the asia region. Tyloo also were the 1st ever asian team to make it to the legend stage at the major.
Valorant is the first big FPS in India, the most clout India ever had in FPS before was the forsaken drama and back then too csgo used to get 500-1000 viewers. This time there's good response from the community and Valorant is quite popular by the community standard for a fps game (tho nothing even near in comparison to the popularity of mobile games). There are a few good teams notably, Velocity, Enigma and Global Esports. Global esports fell hard recently and lost in APAC play ins, Velocity won a match in APAC groups but lost two others matches against FS, SBE and didnt qualify. India will have a team in Masters but it will take time
Tbh when there was cs nobody knew that there was a game called cs, it had less than 10000 player base in india at that time, val got popular due to pubg mobile ban and now we have 10x or more bigger player base, fps is relatively new for those 90000+ people so we need to wait till it get consolidated, china and India both are huge markets of mobile gaming (due to availability and affordability) so pc gaming needs to be polished
Tldr; we suck! because the same old Indian players which were in csgo dominating in india and losing to SEA teams are now in valorant. Although there are some young bloods like RGE but still they are not that good compared to top Indian players. India will only grow when new players come, also SA countries have very poor fps scene so in general SA needs to get competitive
