Ok so I did some digging and I might have discovered how GTN from Team Vikings had such a DOMINANT performance in Masters Reykjavík, averaging 150 ACS as a duelist and going 0% Win Rate as YORU, look at this: https://prnt.sc/13qt2y4

Yeah, thats right, that right there is GTN holding a performance enhancing drug called NEUROGAMER, that claims to boost your brains performance. This is a serious issue guys, I hope we can get the word spread, and maybe get this to Riot so they take appropriate measures.

Neurogamer isn't to enhance gtn performance.
It's to LIMIT gtn performance, gtn doesn't wanna too dominate alone so he put limiter.

Aderall, Ritalin, Modafinil and its chain Ardafinil together with Ephedrine(available in 8mg without presc in Canada) and other stimulating agents can be all prescribed by your doctor, meaning you can't do much about counteracting them. Additionally, propranolol and for some promethazine(yes antihistamine) can lower your anxiety on LANs can also be prescribed by your doctor. In general, stimulants are important in treatment of mental disabilities and are prescribed for a reason hence putting them into PED category is not quite educated. I'm sure there are no studies to date on PED groups in esports and their effects though I might be wrong. One thing for sure that there are loop holes.

Pretty sure that it's just USA being USA where it's in the small minority of countries where people are allowed to buy Aderall like candy over the counter. In the UK and the rest of Europe, Aderall is definitely difficult to come by.

Adderall is not OTC in the US. Doctors just like giving away prescriptions like candy and theres a huge black market for adderall. I'd recommend you watch "Take Your Pills" if you want to look at how the situation actually is in the US

My bad, you're right, I needlessly over-exaggerated. I was trying to make a point that it's so easy to get Aderall in the US, it might as well be OTC. I'm well aware that doctors there do tend to over-prescribe potentially addicting medication, therefore not only fuelling the stimulant addiction but also opioid crisis.

OTC for sure but as a prescribed treatment maybe, no? Though some countries like Korea completely banned this drug. Speaking of PEDs in general, it's not completely certain wether stimulants are very effective when it comes down to esport performance. Yes, they might give your nervous system boost like caffeine or nicotine etc but calling them real PEDs like anabolic agents in athletics is way exagarated. Still you can get around if you wanted to dose your esport performance with some good old aderall EZ, at least in NA and EU.

Actually no. It's proihibited even in a prescribed treatment, but we have other anphetamines that work in a similar way

Doubt people would take promethazine as it leaves most people drowsy and having trouble focusing. People (including myself) get a hangover feeling from it.

There's a reason they recommend you don't operate heavy machinery and take care driving when you're on antihistamines

You'll be surprised that it's actually used in some of the extreme or moderate cases of anxiety. I deliberately added that it is antihistamine and yes, I know what this category of drugs used in practice. Also, not everyone get drowsy durring intake of promethazine(the first gen antihistamine) though it could be the only solution for those who struggle from extreme anxiety(i.e. your first lan but you can stop puking or leave toilet). The second gen antihistamines don't even make you drowsy as they were adjusted(so to speak) but the prescription prcedure should be consulted with your doctor.

I admittedly Havnt looked into it but I doubt neurogamer anything more than some mix of mild over-the-counter stimulants (caffeine, B-Vitamins, etc) and natural neutropics like those those in similar Products like “Alpha Brain” or “Knosis”. All perfectly legal and nothing that would be considered performance enhancing... more like taking a legal pre-workout product before competing in an athletic event.

What you SHOULD be worried about regarding esports “doping” is the abuse of controlled prescription pharmaceutical stimulants. Like those commonly prescribed for ADHD... Ritalin, Adderall, Vyvance, etc.

Ya it was 2015, Semphis admitted they were all on Adderall in Katowice in an interview. That tournament is also the source of "Exiting B, don't shoot me!
