i think champions should have one more slot than masters for every region , this way team who got fucked over throughout online tournaments can still show up as wild cards.

riot does care about eu they just dont want to increase the total amount of slots cause of “budget”. Also dont sleep on other regions. Scrims during masters berlin and champs tell that tier 1-2 eu teams were getting shit on by some of the top teams in asia. Before you bring up the “scrims dont mean shit” Gambit was Scrimbit for months until masters berlin. Scrims show the potential of a team. Eu is dominating because of the wide variety of players to choose from. Got so many countries to produce talent for us. Same for Asia but thats why riot is taking the gamble over there. They just severely lack mid rounding and the tactical aspect. Its all about potential

If eu would matter the same like as other regions, they would split the slots like = 2 cis 3 eu and 1 tr and it would be the same pattern like the other regions. Why should scrims matter how many slots a region get? So eu should get 10 slots, because alliance beat envy in scrims during champions?

I never said scrims have anything to do with how many a region should get. So you want a INTERNATIONAL tournament with 8 eu teams and all the other regions get like 2? They should just give direct slots to turkey and cis. And separate them from emea playoffs. They can do that but they arent increasing the total amount of slots. Also you are severely underrating other regions.

and thats why I brought up the budget. Yet they created a whole vrl league that gets absolutely no viewership besides the spanish league. Stop complaining europe got it good. All they gotta do is give turkey and cis a direct slot. Europeans always crying about slots like it aint an international tournament. Also the games more popular in the other regions. So why wouldnt you give them chances. Its all about potential and one day dont be surprised if brazil or na or even japan beats one of our teams. Im all for the diversity idk why yall arent. Its also very profitable in other regions rn. Thats why I do think turkey is being done dirty not having a direct slot.

truth is riot is so strict on 3rd party organizers because they are greedy as fuck. Apparently they are lifting some restrictions so hopefully it follow in cs footsteps and allow more events. That would be a win win for all regions.

The issue is if they just increase the spots of a single region it will cause the game to become irrelevant in other regions and soon Val would be like CS....A complete European tournament with cameo appearances from other regions
