Guys do you think that watching vlr pro matches is boring ? I personally watch only the teams/players that I like so i'm a bit ''excited'' by the game, if it's just a ''normal'' game I don't last 5 rounds
I still enjoy watching any pro matches as long as it's a close game or the teams are not dogshit and/or trolling. International match ups are the best for storylines and different playstyles. Watching favorite teams is like a rollercoaster, if they win it's super happy but if they lose it's sad so sometimes I skip watching Liquid and Acend if they are trolling.
I heard that point a lot from ''Shroud carry viewership'' and now ''Tarik carry'' lmao both gain insane viewership by doing watchparty not opposite. You're talking like Tarik average 60k viewership a day or sth. If he don't do watchparty, viewership will shift to main channel. And of course less people watch the games between 2 ''less-popular'' teams or teams they don't like, same with traditional sports. Like me Liverpool fan, I don't watch all EPL matches lmao
That's the point, ofc streamers have a benefit of streaming vct but valorant has aswell since it gives visibility to the game. But tbh i'm not sure that Tarik's vierwership will go to the mainstream if he plays while the official stream hosts a game(probably a small part but I think he would keep away a part of the viewership)
Naaah you are missing the whole point. Firstly it was kind of a joke when I said that, ofc it's not litteral. Now you give me numbers and I appreciate it but i'm spitting facts. I agree with the numbers, but they does not imply that ppl who go to Tarik stream to watch pro matches will go to the mainstream if Tarik isn't streaming, and that's a fact.
So i like the numbers but you can't deduct so much things just based on 2 numbers
Yeah, its boring to me too. Sometimes its impossible to understand who did good in bigger fights during the round when so much stuff is happening. You dont know if a team that came out on top did good and thats why they won the choke point or did other made big mistakes. Of course its not the case with all rounds, but the thing that everybody has different abilities and which are still at their disposal makes it hard to follow too closely. And when you cant follow the strategic side of the game, you can only see who aims better so yeah, takes a lot of fun from watching the game. There are not too many strong personalities either when you think about it, not many players made their names yet and almost all the most interesting ones are still from cs lol. Asuna and tenz are the biggest exceptions even though they played cs for a while. 100t is out, not sure what I will watch in masters lol if anything. Koreans are always interesting to watch though. Maybe some other kru-like fluke will happen, that always makes it more interesting
