The first qualifier of First Strike: North America has come to an end. The qualifier, hosted by Nerd Street Gamers, began with a 128 team single-elimination bracket. The top 16 teams of that bracket went on to play in a closed qualifier this week that determined the first four teams to play in the main event next month.

The teams that qualified are as follows:

Those four teams will be joined by four others who will come from the second qualifier hosted by UMG. That qualifier, like this one, will begin with an open bracket next week and finalize the four qualified teams with a closed bracket in the following week.

The other four teams in the top eight of the NSG qualifier will go straight to the closed qualifier for the UMG event. Those teams are as follows:
