I started playing the game again in october, and ranked up from 2300 (back in 2016) to 4982 in 2 weeks until i was hardstuck for two months until i finally reached leagues in january lmao. The game changed a lot and during my two months of being hardstuck, i realized how pay to win the game is. But still I got my shit together and i have some cool decks. Also i am already level 12 after being level 11 for 3 or so months, which isnt bad honestly, pretty quick progression for completely f2p
im pretty sure ive been level 11 for 1+ years, but thats mainly because i barely play
I play quite frequently. Its probably because it doesnt take much time. Just battle once or twice and get out. I do the war league attacks mostly and some ladder.

Nah you'd definitely get like 7.6k minimum. I used to barely reach 6k when that was champion but when I played I was able to reach 6.3k easily now because of the changes.
