NGL it's tough to stay engaged in VAL esports when the professional ecosystem is so lacking in events

Hard to be invested in teams when you know they'll just disband if they screw up one qualifier

There needs to be another meaningful series (or multiple) that makes teams want to work on their long-term chemistry

Can we get something like an EPL or BLAST?

But also maybe the problem is the instability of the meta. Does the game change so often that teams don't even get to work on their long-term chemistry?

I think we should let riot do their things.. this is their second esport so they can definitely learn from their mistake and dont do them with valo

I agree, I'm not suggesting massive changes. But adding another circuit, even one that's secondary to VCT, would be sick.

But Riot also definitely is very particular about their product so this is easier said than done

Yes of course everyone can come and say « more leagues » but you still have to set them up lol. And atm and imo it’s not their priorities and they have problems to deal with before that

First Riot need fix their game and pls god do a global rulling book and not a regional, various rulings with many teams are so inconsistent for this bs decision. And the competitive need a T2 circuit for teams who dq in their closed qlf playoffs for a get a chance to up to main VCT.

I wonder why NA doesn't get VRL like Europe does, genuinely asking cause it's been a solid way for the EU teams to still play and be competitive in between the VCT qualifiers

There is way more regions in Europe than in NA… what would be the regions? Canada east, canada west, usa east, usa west? Kinda hard to know where to put the teams too

The objective is to do VRL's everywhere, they just chose Europe as a the trial region.
If it works well, they will expand the VRL system
