After this masters, BR needs to change.

In a game with 5 maps, u need to get a big map pool, even more when u aren't the best region (BR/KR/SEA/JP/LATAM can't have perma ban because we need to use the ban to eliminate a great map from EU/NA). Another point is that Brazil needs to start to play with the meta agents (nowadays Astra and Viper). This masters showed me that we can face EU/NA in the aim, but in terms of comp and strats we are behind them ...

Imo Brazil is the third best region (KR gonna lose tomorrow against V1), but there are a big gap between us and EU/NA. We need to admit this to move on ...

True, if we don't add up all the best players in one team we will never do shit against EU and NA. -gtn, -frz +mwzera +heat/xand. Also we need to make our comps better, no sage and viper on icebox is suicide...

no need to kick frz, maybe they could also try to play with only one duelist in some maps first. A lot of EU teams are doing that

there's no need, but it's also not a lie that heat/xand are better than frz and mwzera is the best BR player by miles, if we want to create a team that can compete with SEN we need the very best stacked up together, the same thing we did in CS in 2016, LG was actually all the best BR players put together to face international competition and it worked. Turkey just did something like that with that new roster.

im not br but u cant face them in aim. it didnt seem like that today. if anything, sutecas was getting value with his lurks. also br teams are horrible mentally, they threw after going down 7-1 against sen and sharks are a bunch of losers who arent motivated.

no they didnt. it wasnt a choke. it was a lack of will, a lack of toughness. v1 didnt play amazing at the beggining against liquid but they WANTED IT SOOOO BAD, allowing them to reach the highest level of valorant on haven ive ever seen( although higher will be reached later in tourney probably).

i hope im not annoying by adding on but THEY PLAYED WITH THEIR ASS ON FIRE. they played with guts, if u look at them they are all nervous af and shaking but they are yelling, cheering ffor themselves, praising themselves, helping each other push through. vks and sharks especially looked out of it, they were just sitting and wasting precious lan time. no support, eveyone just sitting sad.

Well said, Nuturn from Korea was a perfect example, Losing 13-4 first map but because they have good mental, their anger and patience led to their blowout win in the next two maps against sharks

just shows they arent mentally there. mental strength takes time, you need to go through the lowest points as players to achieve strength (sentinels all dropped from cs teams) (v1 all dropped from cs and val teams) .

couldnt believe it. worst part is gtn, their worst player brought a brazil flag before the match, i knew it would end horrible. They couldnt even play it out and go down swinging. my respect for the team excluding sacy and sutecas who tried has gone down and wont go up. brought a brazil flag just to throw rounds. yuck.

I was expecting this poor performance.

I will repeat what I said a month ago, the BR region gets better overtime, at least that’s how it was for 1.6.
I expect the scene to be OK by the time CHAMPIONS comes around, but early on they aren’t going to win anything.

Someone finally gets it. When Brazilians start creating their own unique playstyle (not just run in, dry peek and hope you win your duel style) that’s when they look scary. So far your teams look like groups of pugstompers with only dueling to win rounds. Not very consistent
