It is implied even on the Oceania Tour page that teams are required to have proper documentation for an offline event, but as far as I'm aware, zero concrete news about it outside of the schedule and what we knew already.
They don't deserve it yet. Wait for SA to prove themselves in APAC payoffs and Pak/Ban/SL teams to show their performance in VCC playoffs.
Riot will do it before we say it.
Zeus, XERXIA's coach said on stream that he's pretty sure it is going to be LAN. He said that he's not 100 percent sure but it is likely that it is going to be a LAN.
20 teams LAN event is going to cost a lot for an A tier tournament so they probably going to keep it online, it would be much cheaper if they just facilitate SA and OCE (like giving them tickets to somwhere in SEA and a place to play) instead of whole APAC
I don't know which thing costs how much.
But what if they do LAN with crowd like CSGO, with players facing the crowd. They can can do something like what KRU did setting a KRU did. That could get some funding too.
