What are the odds makers seeing that I'm not?
Yeah but imo I can't see DWG, GoNGOPrince, stacking up well against GL or Furia at all. Other than Vision Strikers I think Nuturn are far ahead of all their competition. In my opinion, Brazil has more competition in their region than Korea. Even after all these years, solo is still on top? No rising young talent. Worrisome for their region TBH.
Especially when their only real star player from csgo went to c9 in Valorant.
I honestly can't see either, did watch the korean finals and they were missing ridiculous shots that in Brazil you would never see, pistols rounds aiming at the chest... Sharks is not the best team but against Nut I think this will be easy, I don't usually bet but right now I really want to, it's free money
tbh everyone can have their personal theories and etc but this the first International tournament ever in valorant and we wont know how teams play each other till then. NA can get stomped NA can stomp EU can get stomped and can stomp we simply don't know and I would not be surprised that a game like valorant would not have any "dominant regions" but rather dominant teams. Even teams from the same region play a little differently from each other so I'm expecting a nice Rock-Papers-Scissors-esque competition
Nuturn is better overall, brazilians claim Sharks have better aim, well, only prozin and gabx are really good aimers, in Nuturn they have allow, Suggest and Lakia, solo is way more solid and experienced igl than fra, controller I think Light is better than peri, If they dont choke its clearly 2x0 Nuturn
they're good aimers in Brazil, how could you know they're the best in the world ? have they won something already ? you think that EU, NA and other regions dont have good aimers too? Turkey have good aimers like cNed, russ, etc and they did nothing against Liquid and Fnatic, anyway, are device, s1mple and zywoo brazilian ? Brazil didnt won anything in CSGO since 2016, so STFU and wait until Masters
They're favored, although maybe not as much as some odds make it look like. Sharks have some big flaws.
They have a perma veto and with that they can't target their veto on opponent's map pool. Also, besides having a perma veto, they have 2/4 good maps and the other 2 are very average (and when playing against teams on the same level/better, being average on a map should mean that you're likely to lose). Also, they still play the old brazilian meta with more fast paced and explosive entry rellying too much on duelists. And I don't think they had enough time to re-adapt to the current meta with the broken agents in Viper and Astra.
In Brazil, they didn't get punished so much cuz most of their opponents also still played that old brazilian meta. VKS was one of the exceptions and were able to punish Sharks.
