Scrims are still good indicators of what could potentially happen. Definitely, don't take the results as definitive of what will happen.

People are CRAVING content. There's very little content leading to the event so people discuss whatever they can, in this case, scrim results. If you can 'save the hype' until the event, good for you, but don't gate keep people from discussing scrim results. Don't like it? Don't open threads about scrims.

Scrims can be good indications of what to expect from the teams, but they definitely are not possible to spike results before the tournament. In international tournaments, scrims are usually used to make teams' first impressions of each other
