Viewership of Valorant is higher than CSGO

Yesterday mONESY's debut + New G2 lineup and NA CS comeback only had around 350K viewership. Lets be real mONESY's debut was such a hype in CSGO community. But Masters Berlin of G2 vs Sentinels had around 800K viewership. No big names just a bit of rivalry. So more people started to watch Valorant than CSGO?

1st off can everyone stop comparing the viewership for the 2 games. Secondly, why would you compare the viewership of a major event like Masters Berlin(1 of the 3 International LANs of the year) to a random CS tournament? Why wouldn't you compare the viewership of both games from yesterday or something like that?

the difference is valo has like 3 relevant tournaments a year while cs has like 15,the only reason they get more wiewers and hype than a cs tier 1 tournament overall is because everyone treats it like a major and its the only time we see teams from other regions even competing against eachother

i watched m0nesy and niko, and i don't even watch/play csgo much. im really looking forward to nitr0 as well, never had a chance to watch him play csgo. csgo is a fun esport to watch when i don't know teams, just because the quality of play seems higher. a lot of valorant tournaments are for tier2 teams, and i feel like all these csgo tournaments i find are tier1. maybe that's not a fair comparison idk.
